[8/30/2017] Projectile clipping and patch notes

Content updates

  • Projectile clipping
    • You will no longer be able to use range or magic attacks behind walls, etc.
    • This system is solely applied in player vs. player combat, as opposed to player vs. monsters
  • Magic combat distance fix
    • There should no longer be issues with following when chasing opponents with magic spells (particularly splashes)
  • Wilderness monsters
    • More miscellaneous monster spawns have been added to the wilderness
  • Aggressiveness
    • The following monsters/bosses will no longer be aggressive:
      • Demonic gorillas
      • Battle mages (mage arena)
      • Brutal/Lava/Frost dragons
      • Wildywyrm
      • Barrelchest
  • EdgePvP
    • The following items have been added to the restriction list:
      • Ring of vigour (both standard and imbued)
      • Flask potions
      • Spellcaster gloves
      • Goliath gloves
      • Swift gloves
      • Ornament jewellry
        • (or) items have been restricted due to their highly boosted (custom) stats
      • Ava's accumulator (t)
      • Infernal cape
      • Viper helmet
  • Player rank displays
    • You can now see player donator rank icons on their right-click menu
      • The rank icon is also displayed on the tooltip, when hovering over players
    • This should also apply for special ranks, such as the Youtuber ranks

Nice update,

Arcane and spectral should have been removed from the restriction list though and perhaps ely as well since it doesn't work properly (ely is debatable, but arcane and spectral should definitely be allowed there.)

Edit: Add other things to the restriction list too - Wilderness cloak if it has custom stats, flameburst defender, granite maul (or) and fury (or) or negate their bonus stats at edgepvp, trident of the seas/swamp if they aren't already (don't blacklist them but make the built in / autocast spell not work as it's not intended to be used in pvp), lava whip, frost whip, dark and light infinity (same stats as zuriels which is blocked), blessed sara sword (at least until it's nerfed or possibly permanently), and vip / legendary wings if they aren't already

Good update

but those 

The following monsters/bosses will no longer be aggressive:

  • Demonic gorillas
  • Battle mages (mage arena)
  • Brutal/Lava/Frost dragons
  • Wildywyrm
  • Barrelchest
  • why not Aggressive to not be afkers??

Exactly, some of them can be used as afk bossing which shouldn't be the case. The others are too OP to be aggroing, such as drags/wildywyrm/battle mages.

Not sure I agree with the flasks and infernal cape. Flasks are for donors  and I think should be given to them for supporting the server I also feel like infernal cape should be allowed because people camped hard for it and its an untradeable the rest I love.
