[March 28th, 2017] Particle system, mechanic tweaks, and more!

Update Logs:

 

  • New particle system
    • This new system that will allow us to make great improvements in the aesthetics of items and pets
    • It's currently added for all the completionist capes, demonstrated on the GIF image above
    • This system to newer items (and possibly pets) in the near future
    • This will most likely only be added onto the most rare items (or pets) in the game

     

    [*]New texture system

    • We've implemented a system that will allow us to add textures to more items (for example, the moving firecape)
    • Blood rune c'bow now has a moving blood flowing texture
    • Blood whips now have a moving blood flowing texture
    • Blood staff now has a moving blood flowing texture
    • Blood dark bow now has a moving blood flowing texture
    • Blood king crown now has a moving blood flowing texture

     

    [*]Chat filters

    • New "yell" chat filter has been added
    • This chat filter can be toggled off/on to hide the server's yell chat (staff yells are force shown)
    • Added proper button/hover displays for the chat filter toggles

     

    [*]Improvements/tweaks on switching

    • There's been complaints of switching still having issues with delays
    • This should now be fixed, and even more responsive than before

    [*]Improvements/tweaks on pathing

    • "Running/walking back" after attacking your opponent has had noticeable delays, which should now be fixed
    • Hitting while running up to the player should now be more responsive and proper, this should also help with gmaul spec delays

    [*]You can now "tab to reply" to PMs without the player being on your friends list

    [*]Typing in ":;players" will now also tell you the amount of players in the wilderness

    [*]Yoshi pets will now place items in your inventory in the mage arena, rather than being fully blocked

Rip would have loved to see the fuser pet already changed, I feel like this fuser pet achev is gonna be hard with so few changes in the fuser pets.
