[September 24th, 2019] More QoLs, and Patch Notes!

Note from the developers
Although we've been busy working on optimizing the client and server (see below)
we decided to drop a quick QoL & bug fix patch before the next content update. Stay tuned!
 

Gameplay improvements:

  • Loadout folders
    • You can now create folders and organize your loadouts!
    • Folders can be renamed, deleted, and are saved upon creation

  • Blood revenant QoLs
    • Blood revenant catcher
      • This item can be purchased from Risky Rick for 5x bags (500M!)
      • Use it on a blood revenant to tele-grab it next to you from any distance!
      • It's always risked on death, and will drop as 250M coins to the player killer
      • Limitations of the catcher, instances in which you can not use it:
        • The revenant is dying
        • The revenant is combat
        • The revenant has been teleported already (by you or someone else) within the last 10 secs
        • The revenant has been attacked within the last 10 secs

           
    • Blood revenants will now appear on your minimap with a special icon!

  • Optimization
    • We've been working diligently to improve SPK's performance, in effort to reduce lag in different areas:
      • Client issues:
        • Low FPS
        • Framerate hiccups
        • Client stutters and deadlicks
      • Server issues: 
        • "Server-wide" lag spikes
        • Sudden large delays, etc.
           
    • Improvements have been made, and we will continue working to further improve the issue
      • For client issues, please let us know how it goes for you on the #beta-client channel of our Official Discord

  • Looting bags (loadouts)
    • If your loadout has a closed looting bag, but you only have an open bag in your inventory, it will now pull the sole (opened) looting bag
    • This also applies for the vice-versa scenario

Tweaks and bug fixes:

  • Added a 84 damage cap to sunspear special attack
  • Added an 82 damage cap to blood rune c'bow (elderblood ring combination led to very high hits)
  • Added a 42-42 (84) damage cap to blood slayer bow special attack
  • Fixed blood orb loot not dropping when killing a player in the non-wild via PvP timer
  • Fixed improper staff of balance magic damage bonus
  • Fixed issue with quick prayers not indicating its proper state depending on click speeds
  • Fixed issue with clicking the game world slightly above the game tab buttons (magic on players, attacking players, etc.) in resizeable mode
  • Fixed the $5 bond in the gold artifact store, which was intended to be a $10 bond
  • Fixed items with missing or improper icons in the loadout system
  • Allowed the usage of ::staff when your account PIN is locked

Aye that was my suggestion from a while ago, glad to see it implemented!
