[1/5/2018] Modifiable F-Keys, combat improvements, and more!

Content updates

  • F-Key binding
    • You can now customize and assign F-Keys to your game tabs
    • Select the "F-Key" button on your settings tab in order to access this menu
    • Your changes will be saved upon changes, and will load on each client start up
      • You also have an option to select the "restore default" option to re-assign the default F-Key setup
  • Combat improvements
    • Dragon daggers
      • Added proper (improved) special attack formula
    • Toxic blowpipe
      • Reduced consistency of high hits in PvP combat
        • Hit formula has NOT changed for PvM combat
    • Barrelchest cannon
      • Fixed hit delay after performing the special attack
    • Teleblock
      • Added proper mechanic
        • Teleblock will now apply (or fail if splashed) on the EXP drop rather than on projectile impact
    • Tome of frost
      • Modified equipment and damage bonuses
    • Protect from magic
      • Fixed formula, added proper magic defense bonuses to the prayer
    • Damage caps
      • Important note: Damage caps do not mean strength bonuses are devalued.
        • Caps are applied after the hit damage roll, meaning your hits are still rolled/calculated with the original max
        • As a result, the higher your strength bonus is, the more likely you are to hit high (even with the cap)
      • Ice blitz and barrage
        • Spell damage capped to 42
      • Saradomin swords
        • Standard SS spec melee hit capped to 52 (total cap 67)
        • Blessed SS spec melee hit capped to 59 (total cap 74)
      • Elemental dagger
        • Special attack damage capped to 78
        • This cap only applies in PvP combat
      • Whips
        • Abyssal whip damage capped to 42
        • Abyssal tentacle damage capped to 45
        • Blood whip damage capped to 45
        • Lava whip damage capped to 48
        • Frost whip damage capped to 50
  • Blood bags
    • All players now have a rare chance to receive "blood money bags" on player kills
      • Opening these bags will give the player 100 blood money
  • Pet QoL
    • Set "pick-up" as a right-click (rather than left-click) option when displayed
      • This should help reported issues with pick-up misclicks, particularly when PvMing in non-wilderness
  • Commands
    • Added a ::shops command
    • Relocated ::help location
      • We relocated this zone because public chat was previously shared with players at ::gamble (same region)
      • If preferred, players can still teleport to the old help area with ::camelot
  • Sponsor zone
    • Fixed issue with monsters disappearing at too short of a distance
  • Christmas event
    • Event has been disabled, winter mode is no longer set as default
      • You can still enter ::snow to toggle this feature

I would rather see a bunch more or bigger updates to come at once even if I had to wait bit longer.

Not particulary impressed with the updates but they are still not bad. Good job.

PS: finally bp got nerfed in pvp.

This makes torva camping easier

I use less blessed ss, even though it was just a more accurate AGS.

AGS can max hit 80, while 1 handed spec weapons can use dfs

Elemental Dagger 78 + DFS is still 80+

Or

Dragon war hammer 80+ DFS is  huge damage

 

As of last update when clicking attack a player it doesnt show u trying to attack them.

Hey I like the blood bag implement, and about time abby dagger takes a step down, now nerf torva defense bonus as well :)

Jesus christ, whats next? Nerf pets? Nerf ags? Nerf bronze? Torva has always been a tanky armor set. It's barely better than primal because its +2 str bonus higher in the legs, but the defensive stats are sorta the same. Sad everyone wants everything nerfed. Welcome to nerfPK

Nice update @Ryan , Nothing that exciting in it tho Hope to see action packed content from you in the near future
