Ryan 315 Posted December 4, 2022 Nightmare Before Christmas Event (2022) As promised, we've delivered a fusion of the H'ween + Xmas event, bringing a darker winter to SpawnPK! The game is themed as such, which can be toggled with ::darkxmas or ::darkwinter (much like ::hween, ::xmas, etc. which can also be optionally toggled) As the event continues it will transform, unlocking new activities as well (explained further below!) Roaming monsters A curse has brought back mobs from xmas & h'weens past! In this event you will initially grab free (tier 1) Nightstorm and Winterstorm wands. Nightstorm deals +10% damage against h'ween mobs, while Winterstorm deals +10% damage against xmas mobs. When killing a mob, you'll also be guaranteed +1 H'ween soul or +1 Xmas soul, depending on the mob type. Unlike previous events, this sub-currency works as a point system rather than an item. These souls can be used to purchase upgrades for your event weapons, as well as other trinkets and utility items! You can type ::souls to view your current amount! Once you've received the ultimate event weapon, and the maximum upgrades for your trinkets, you can purchase the Nightwinter talisman. This talisman allows you to exorcise xmas & h'ween souls for tokens, but has a limited charge of 50 souls per hour. Event Bosses The global boss, Krampmare will appear in the event boss lair (safe zone) every four hours! Any player who participates will receive a free drop as well as +20 h'ween souls and +20 xmas souls The Candy spider (wilderness event boss) will appear at a random wilderness location every 2 hours! Like Krampmare, each kill participant will receive +20 h'ween souls and +20 xmas souls Festive Bounty Hunter This event activity is back, and will be activated on December 10th! Once enabled, players will have a 1/25 base chance to receive Festive emblems from bounty target kills (or cursed festive emblems if participating in cursed BH)! These emblems can be broken for event tokens and "festive bounties", which can be spent on perks! The automated system will make a broadcast when it's unlocked, or you can check the countdown in-game by typing ::event or ::e! NOTE: Festive bounties from previous events will NOT carry over from previous events! Holiday Money Making Bonuses This new activity will be activated on December 20th! Once it's enabled, players will receive "Holiday points" for completing money making activities 1 point per easy task 2 points per medium 3 points per hard As you earn more points, you'll receive more free bonus rewards! Unique rewards are unlocked from earning points (in increments of mostly 10). Once all of the rewards are unlocked, you'll receive a repeatable reward of 1,000 tokens every 10 points! Other activities The other standard activities included in this event are: PK Activities Winter brawl waging Daily money making activities include token rewards Krampmare Pet This year's exclusive event pet is based on the Krampmare boss. Increases all damage and accuracy by +2.5% Attacking with a switched combat style grants an additional +2.5% damage and +5% accuracy for 5 seconds (this does not stack) An icon displays above Krampmare's head to indicate this bonus Your switched combat style attack must be within 10 ticks of your last attack Krampmare pet can also be enchanted to Evil krampmare pet for boosted modifiers of the above effect. NOTE: A fusion for this pet is not released as of now, and whether we will add one later in the event is to be determined. Because this pet's mechanics are rather niche and experimental, we'd prefer to see how the base (and enchanted) variant do in-game, as well as take in feedback first. Fury amulets Within the event chest, the following exclusive fury amulets are included as rewards: Amulet of mightfury +2.5% magic & melee damage in PvM, higher stats in melee/mage Gives +10% blood money from PvP kills Autokeep but tradeable Amulet of sightfury +2.5% range & melee damage in PvM, higher stats in melee/mage Gives +10% blood money from PvP kills Autokeep but tradeable Amulet of blightfury +2.5% magic & range damage in PvM, higher stats in range/mage Gives +10% blood money from PvP kills Autokeep but tradeable All three of these amulets can be enchanted for an Amulet of Nightfury +5% damage for all combat styles (magic/range/melee) Gives +15% blood money from PvP kills Autokeep but tradeable Seasonal pet fuse boxes (LIMITED TIME!) During the event, pet fuse boxes received from promotional items (packs, tickets, etc.) will be the "Pet fuse box (seasonal)" variant While the event is active (and during the event only) there is a very rare chance to receive LIMITED SUPPLY vintage event fusion pets It MUST! be a seasonal box (from the picture above) in order to get this limited time pet!! The limited supply is as follows: x1 Unholy behemoth pet (carried over, as only 2/3 were pulled from Summer's End Event 2022) x3 Mystical icelord pets (Winter event 2021 fusion pet) Once a pet is pulled from this supply, it is removed from the pool. NOTE: There is a limit of one pull per player, per pet type.
