Ryan 315 Posted April 27, 2022 Spring Event 2022 The long awaited Spring Event is finally here, and will be open until May 31st, 2022! Below are a list of activities that this event includes.. Roaming wilderness mobs There are common, uncommon, and rare Easter Imps roaming the deep wilderness! They drop event tokens, "easter eggs" and other treasure items when killed! You need an event weapon to attack them. You can grab a free tier one weapon by interacting with the egg piles at home (next to the Easter bunny) There are three different event weapons, all upgradeable to tier 2 & 3 by spending the "easter eggs" dropped by imps. After all three weapons (easter sword/wand/chinchompas) are fully upgraded, you can purchase the Easter Arsenal Staff -- which is the strongest event weapon for Spring 2022! In addition, there are three tiers of Easter Boots which increase your event weapon's damage, and the amount of tokens dropped by mobs! Once everything in the shop has been purchased/upgraded (weapons, boots, arsenal staff) you can then purchase the Egg crusher which converts Easter eggs into Spring tokens! Gilded Eggs There are rare Gilded eggs that you can find roaming the wilderness as well, which are an extremely rare find! Gilded eggs can be cracked open for 500 tokens, or (if you save them), five can be cracked open for a Spring event skin token (gives your character a neon pink skin tone) These eggs are also obtainable as rare loot from Easter Revenants (see below) Easter Revenants (Wilderness multi dungeon) Easter revenants have returned yet again for this year's Spring Event! This dangerous dungeon inflicts magic sickness upon entrance, leaving you with only two exits to escape (one of which requires the Excavator blood perk) Revenants in this dungeon drop a variety of different items, including Gilded eggs mentioned above Festive Bounty Hunter Due to the lack of completions, we've rolled in a continuation of progress from the Winter Event 2021 "festive bounty hunter" event. All your bounties and emblems from the last event will be carried over to this one. For those unaware of how the system works: Quote We've evolved h'weens spectral bounty system and added a new twist, which should give PvP more event rewards/progression than ever before! Killing BH targets has a 1/25 base chance to earn you Festive emblems which can be cracked open for winter tokens and festive bounties! If you're doing cursed bounty hunter, you will receive a (more rewarding) cursed variant of this emblem Regular festive emblems: 100 winter tokens + 100 festive bounties Cursed festive emblems: 250 winter tokens + 250 festive bounties These festive bounties can be spent to unlock tiers of upgrades to your festive bounty-hunting, from a psuedo perk-tree tier system (speak with Santa at home) The final tier for this event includes a Bunny death taunt which makes the killer do a bunny hop animation, as bunny spirits float around the victim. In addition, the Jolly Death Taunt from Winter 2021 is included as well, since barely any players were able to complete it. Event Bosses This event includes a standard Global Boss (Easter Kalphite Queen) which spawns in a safe zone every 4 hours. In addition, a vintage wilderness boss from 2019 (Big Chungus) will spawn at a random wilderness location every 2 hours! The vintage boss has a very rare chance to drop an Easter vintage casket which includes some rare items from previous Easter/Spring events! The Easter Kalphite Queen pet has the following effects: Restores your prayer by 5% of the damage you take Increases ranged strength by +5 Increases magic damage by +5% 10% chance to completely ignore enemy defences if using ranged/magic (33% chance in PvM) Not only that, but the pet can be fused into the Ultimate easter kalphite queen pet by combining x5 Blood Lords, x5 Blood Phoenixes, and x15 Easter KQ pets The fused version has a black / red color scheme, and has the following effect buffs: Restores your prayer by 5% 7.5% of the damage you take Increases ranged strength by +5 +15 Increases magic damage by +5% +10% 10% 15% chance to completely ignore enemy defences if using ranged/magic (33% 50% chance in PvM) Standard activities As usually seen in other events, the Spring Event also includes: Brawl wagering Daily money activity token rewards Bonus tokens for raids dailies Hunger Games and LMS PKing, Hotspot kills, Bounty kills Patch Notes Treasure caskets & chests prices now cheaper in HG & LMS point shops Added new items to OSRS HG: Karambwans, Sanguinesti staff, Dragon hasta, Dragon hunter lance, 3rd age bow, Dragon sword, Justiciar armor, Elysian spirit shield, Unholy book, Fremennik kilt Added new items to Custom HG: Dark blowpipe, Cursed vls, Cursed swh, Blood neitiznot faceguard, Gilded hand cannon, Karambwans, Cursed Kharazi armor, Malevolent sword, Malevolent maul, Malevolent axe, Malevolent cannon, Dark korasi's sword, Dark brimstone ring When inside Hunger games, Random event timer reduced from 45 seconds to 30 seconds between random events Increased amount of time Golden Hunger games are active from 5 minutes to 10 minutes Increased cash bag reward per kill in HG from 3 -> 4 Increased cash bag 1st place prize in HG from 5b -> 10b Increased cash bag 2nd place prize in HG from 2.5b -> 5b Increased cash bag 3rd place prize in HG from 1.5b -> 2.5b Increased cash bag amount from HG daily reward 5b -> 10b Increased points for winning LMS from 10 -> 15 Increased points for all other placements in LMS by +1 Added 50x cash bags to LMS daily reward Increased cash bag reward amounts for most daily moneymaking tasks Added bloodlust scrolls to Easy PKing Daily Moneymaking tasks Bloodlust scrolls now give 15 minutes of bloodlust instead of 5 minutes Increased Larran's chest cash bag reward amounts on common table Increased Task scroll's cash bag reward amounts on common table (both pking & skilling) You now receive 3-5 rewards instead of 3-4 rewards from Task scroll caskets Increased chances of receiving rares from task scrolls by 10% Increased cash bag reward from Tournaments: 75b -> 100b Increased bond reward from Tournaments: $30 -> $45 Increased blood money reward from Tournaments: 10,000 -> 12,500 Added new tournament type: Zerker tournaments New daily moneymaking Medium task: 15 hotspot kills Fix bloodthorn bush on ladder @ blood slayer cave Fixed bug that allowed blood slayer task obtainment without the mode unlocked Beast icon (t1 & t2) are now untradeable (was originally intended to be untradeable) Added ::haloz command for Youtuber Haloz!
