Daily Tasks and Weekly Reward Suggestions

I just wanted to make an official suggestion post on tweaking current daily rewards and proposing weekly reward tasks and daily rotating challenges.

The easy tasks currently give more rewards than medium or hard tasks which makes no sense. Adding slayer and blood slayer tasks to medium or hard with a decent reward would also be nice to see. Like the blood shard and blood diamond tasks are not worth doing at all only when going for achievement.

 

My suggestions for easy daily tasks:

Seems balanced especially for newer players the tasks are easy and the rewards are good. Leave as is.

My suggestions for medium daily tasks:

- Increase rewards for the dragons dailys (Add caskets and increase cash/bm reward).

- Increase revenants cash reward, increase ether reward.

- Increase cash and blood money rewards compared to easy tasks.

Add:

- Complete 5 normal slayer tasks (Reward: 2B Cash | Casket).

In general the medium tasks need to be looked at and the rewards increased to make in linear based on difficulty of task and reward because certain tasks such as revenants are more risky than say undead pkers yet you have to kill more revenants and you get less rewards than an easy task...

My suggestions for hard daily tasks:

- Increase the rewards for jungle demon daily because currently easy tasks give more.

- Increase rewards for other tasks to make it balanced compared to easy and medium tasks.

Add:

- Complete 10 Blood Slayer Tasks (Reward: 1k blood money or x2 caskets or 50 bags but something more rewarding than easy or medium tasks).

Adding this would definitely increase player activity in the wildy.

 

Also, please increase the rate at which hotspot caskets are dropped because they are extremely rare and the rewards are garbage.

Next I want to talk about daily challenges which would be a nice implentation to add variety to the server and daily tasks. I take into account both newer and veteran players and try to make it as realistic and achievable as possible. There are 7 Days in a week so I think there should be atleast 7 different if not more different challenges that can rotate randomly every 24 hours and depending on what the challenge is, people can focus on a specific task more that day and make even more gains or there can be 7 set tasks which are always on the same days so people can plan ahead for the grind.

 Proposed Daily Rotating Challenges (Reset Every 24Hr):

- Kill 100 Undead Pkers. (Reward: Casket + 1-5B Cash)

- Kill 200 Dragons. (Reward: 5-10B Cash)

- Get 75 Player Kills. (Reward: 1-2k Blood Money)

- Get 50 Pure Kills. (Reward: 1-2k Blood Money)

- Complete 20 Barrows. (Reward: 5-10B Cash)

- Complete 7 Daily Activities. (Reward: Treasure Chest (from blood hydra achievement) or 5-10B Cash).

- Kill 50 Bosses. (Reward: 5-10B Cash)

- Complete 10 Blood Slayer/Normal Slayer Tasks (Reward 5-10B Cash)

- Acquire 200 Slayer/Blood Slayer Points (Combined). (Reward: 50 Point Boxes + 5B Cash)

 

Finally my suggestion for weekly tasks which would reset every week(feel free to add):

- Kill 250 Players (Rewards: Mystery Box | 1-10k Blood Money (Random) | 1-10B Cash (Random).

- Kill 200 Bosses (Rewards: Similar or same as above).

- Complete 20 Daily Tasks (Rewards: 1-10B Cash | 1-10k Blood Money | Treasure Chest (Gives better rewards than treasure casket/same as blood hydra achievement reward chest).

- Kill 1000 Battle Mages (Rewards: 5-10k Magic Tokens (Random) | 10k Blood Money | 10B Cash.

- Complete 5 Task Scrolls (Combined)

(Rewards: 1x Pk Casket | 1x Skilling Casket).

- Vote 25 Times (This would further encourage voting and bring in more players)

(Reward: 10-20 Vote Points | 5B Cash)

- Complete 50 Slayer Tasks (Slayer and Blood Slayer Combined)

(Rewards: 100 Point Boxes | 5-10B Cash | 5-10k Blood Money)

P.S.

You might take a look at the rewards and think its too much but don't forget it is for a week and if you compare with daily tasks such as undead pkers, which is an easy 3b in 30 minutes so yeah. If anything my proposed rewards can be adjusted and is only my suggestion.

A big +1 for me, I like to work towards tasks instead of just afking one boss for that rare drop.

+1 solid suggestion, will for sure attract and motivate new players, and I even think some more experienced players could enjoy these too!

I especially like the rotating dallies!
I personally feel perhaps some tweaking in exact rewards would be needed (as you also indicate in your post) as I feel certain rewards are a bit much (especially when comparing to raids, which is pretty effort intensive at times and only gives like1-2b average reward). Also I'dd suggest item rewards rather than pure cash to safeguard against further inflation (devaluation of spk cash), as this could bring in a large quantity and if it's all cash, the value of cash will just drop, where as if it's a well spread out mix of items I think it could benefit and help stabilize eco.

So there is my 2 cents, but already big thanks for thinking out and formulating this suggestion, hope it gets implemented soon!

I agree on the cash inflation, would be nice to see item rewards or possibly a new type of box which would open for either items, blood diamonds, blood shards or blood money/cash. Similar to treasure casket but implement something new e.g. treasure box

I totally agree on the buffs you suggested, something which i wanted to add maybe add a daily easy/medium/hard task aswell. 

 

Like complete 5 easy raids (easy task)

complete 5 adept/expert raids (medium/hard task) 

and maybe even add complete 1/2/3 master raids (hard task).

 

makes raids more rewarding on the overall doing of them.

 

big +1 on the buffs of the daily money makers!

Is it technically to early for a bump or? Cause this could really with (a) getting more new players to stay and (b) stabilize eco somewhat in my opinion :)
