☃️ Winter Event 2021 ☃️ Festive Bounty Hunter We've evolved h'weens spectral bounty system and added a new twist, which should give PvP more event rewards/progression than ever before! Killing BH targets has a 1/25 base chance to earn you Festive emblems which can be cracked open for winter tokens and festive bounties! If you're doing cursed bounty hunter, you will receive a (more rewarding) cursed variant of this emblem Regular festive emblems: 100 winter tokens + 100 festive bounties Cursed festive emblems: 250 winter tokens + 250 festive bounties These festive bounties can be spent to unlock tiers of upgrades to your festive bounty-hunting, from a psuedo perk-tree tier system (speak with Santa at home) The tier upgrades can increase your chance for emblems, increase the tokens you earn from cracking them open, and even grant an exclusive, limited time death taunt! ("Jolly death taunt" creates giant ice spikes around your foe, and Santa Clause will appear to taunt your enemy with Christmas puns) Wilderness Mob Hunting There are giant, mysterious gift boxes roaming around the deep wilderness.. You must approach them, and see what's hiding inside! Monsters that appear drop winter tokens and snowglobes. (Snowglobes are a stackable & untradeable currency used to upgrade your event weapons -- explained further below) When mysterious boxes are approached, there is a chance to encounter the following: Snowmen (range/melee/magic variants) (common) Upon kills there is a chance to encounter a Superior snowman with a far better drop table Blood orbs increase the chances of these encounters Ice titans (uncommon) Improved drop table from snowmen Upon kills there is a chance to encounter a Superior ice titan with a far better drop table (like snowmen, improved rates via blood orbs) Free gifts (uncommon/rare) Gives you winter tokens and snowglobes without having to kill any monsters! There is a slightly rare chance to get a larger sum of tokens and snowglobes With the aforementioned Snowglobes you can purchase and upgrade your event weaponry with a more extensive progression system than previous events There are two different sets of "standard" event weaponry: the Candy cane staves and the Jolly shortbows The candy cane staff deals more damage with a slower attack speed, and vice versa for the jolly shortbow Both sets of weapons can be upgraded all the way to Tier 4 with Snowglobes Weapon tiers: T1: Free of cost, standard damage & speed T2: Costs 25 snowglobes, deals more damage than Tier 1 T3: Costs 50 snowglobes, deals more damage than Tier 2 T4: Costs 100 snowglobes, deals more damage than Tier 3 and has an increased attack speed of +1 Once you have both weapons upgraded to Tier 4, you unlock the ability to purchase the Snowball launcher This is the most powerful event weapon, with a fast attack speed and high dealing damage against event bosses & monsters. In addition, you can purchase three different tiers of Winter charms which give +10%/+25%/+33% tokens from roaming mobs when kept in your inventory. And lastly, once you have everything unlocked (both weapons and charms) you can purchase the Snowglobe crusher which can convert snowglobes into additional winter tokens! Wilderness event boss Every two hours, the vintage Winter Demon boss will spawn in a random wilderness location among the following: Outside of Rogue's castle North of Lava dragons South of Callisto The winter demon drop includes a very rare chance for a Vintage winter casket This vintage casket opens for a random rare item from the 2018-2020 winter events Global event boss And every four hours, the Icelord world boss (safe zone) will spawn in the event boss lair (climb-down the hole next to Santa at home) This world boss also has a pet, which gives hits a 1/4 chance for the Icelord Pet to shoot an icicle at your opponent, dealing up to 1/10 of your enemy's max HP. In addition, this pet is releasing with a fusion: Mystical icelord pet The cost of this fusion is: 10x Icelord pets 5x Mystical tekton pets 150x Blood diamonds (We know 10x icelords may sound hefty, but based on analysis from previous event chest spendings, there will still be enough circulating supply of them to keep the fusion pet rare but not too rare) Includes the combined effects of the pets, but for those unaware: Icelord's icicle ability Mystical tekton's +10% damage against all monsters and bosses Mystical tekton's very rare chance to insta-kill monsters and bosses Other activities PKing players (not bots) grant 100-150 tokens +50 via hotspot kills +50 via bounty kills Top 3 in LMS grants 100/250/500 tokens, respectively Top 3 in Hunger Games grants 50/100/250 tokens, respectively Every hour, a brawl between two winter-themed NPCs takes place! Like the h'ween event, you can place a token bet (up to 25,000) on which NPC you think will win the fight! Daily money making activities
