Note from the Developers
This is our second compilation update of high voted suggestions (in the #finished-suggestions channel on our Discord)
We also decided to spice it up with a content update as well (Blood Slayer Cave)!

The Blood Slayer Cave

This new cavern can be unlocked at Rank 25 Blood Slayer for 500 Blood Slayer Points!

When teleporting to the cavern you will be taken to a Singles-plus wilderness zone, and given 30 minutes of Magic sickness. The only exit is a rope which climbs you up to level 54 wilderness (near the bats at Mage Bank), so beware!

In addition, yoshi pets will auto-loot to inventory rather than bank (similar to Revenant Caves)

(For those unaware, Singles-Plus is singles with the exception that if a player is in combat with a monster, they can still be attacked by another player)

Within this cave, there are "Enraged" versions of monsters that have more hitpoints, but improved drop tables!

You can only attack monsters that are your Blood slayer cave task which is given to you by the cave slayer master near the exit / entrance location

  • Each blood slayer cave task grants 30 blood slayer points, 15 slayer points, and 5 BM per kill of the task
     
  • You have a maximum of 5 tasks per day, but you can bypass this daily limit by paying 75 blood slayer points
    • It's a hefty cost, but you will still net profit (5 tasks = 150 points) -- this was just to reduce the yield of excessive task farming
       
  • All monsters guarantee a drop of stackable Cave essence
    • Untradeable, but on death your essence will drop as 3x BM (per ess) to the killer
    • This essence will be used to summon the Blood Slayer Beast boss (explained further down)
       
  • All monsters have a chance to drop Cave key loop/tooth halves
    • Tradeable, can be combined to create a Cave key which is used to access the boss lair
    • We decided to make Cave Keys tradeable so PKers can buy them and access the boss lair without having to grind cave essence
       
  • On the top right corner of your screen, you'll notice a Killcount and Drop rate counter.
    • For every 5 kills you have, your drop rate bonus in the cave increases by +1% (capped at +10%). This killcount resets once you leave the cave, so the longer you stay and risk, the more you're rewarded!

Blood Slayer Beast (Boss)

In order to fight the Blood Slayer Beast you must have a Cave key to cross the gate (shown in the map above) and 75x Cave essence to summon the blood slayer beast boss via the necromancer inside the lair.

The bosses drops, as of release, are as followed:

The Blood candle can attach to a Jungle totem lantern to create a Blood totem lantern for the following upgrades:

  • Increased strength bonus to +9
  • Provides 15% drop rate bonus
  • Deals +7.5% damage against monsters

 

Please Note

The boss lair is NOT singles-plus, and is instead just singles. Due to the cave essence cost of summoning it, we figured it'd be unfair if PKers could PJ you mid-fight with the boss. But stay on your toes, because PKers can still attack you after the boss fight, and the exit is a long way from the lair (see map)!

 

 

Gameplay Changes & QoLs

  • Re-designed pure zone to allow for more room (wilderness border is visually defined by flame walls)
    • In addition, you can now ::unskull in the Pure Zone safe spots

  • Yoshi will now send items to your looting bag if you have an opened looting bag in your inventory
     
  • Added new "Blood slayer tentacle" weapon to the Blood slayer shop
    • Costs 1,000 Blood slayer points and requires Rank 25 Blood Slayer
       
  • Improved the Deep Wilderness hotspot
    • Increased global drop rate via deep wild from +10% to +25%
    • The hotspot now gives a +25% chance for superior blood revenants and wilderness bosses
       
  • Hotspot voting must now wait 60 seconds after the hotspot is selected
     
  • Added a CTRL+Q hotkey to spawn most recent loadout
     
  • Made some adjustments to Dark Blowpipe
    • Its unique 2 tick attack speed has returned to PvP, but has been given a lower damage cap to balance it.
    • In addition, the special attack will give a slightly longer attack delay in PvP
       
  • Added new Raids chart POH furniture that can be built on your Study Room walls
    • Costs 150 cash bags and 1,000 blood shards
    • Grants +10% raid chest rate boost (stacks with raids scroll)
    • Lasts for 1 hour, can be used once every 12 hours
       
  • Made some adjustments to the standard Icelord pet
    • Monsters can now only be hit by the standard icelord pet's icicles once every 20 seconds.
      • This is global, meaning if (for example) one of your raid party members icelord procs, nobodies will be able to proc on that monster for 20 secs
    • This change DOES NOT apply to the fusion (mythical icelord pet)
       
  • Increased the amount of BM dropped by all wilderness bosses to 25-30 per kill (wildy only) with a rare chance for a 500 BM drop 
     
  • Added a chat message for when the soul mini-beast (and variants) proc the extra drop effect
     
  • Zulrah drop table has been buffed to become more profitable
     
  • Added a new right-click "Expel" option on other players for owners of POHs
     
  • Improved chance of Blood Slayer beast pet's 2X larran's drop to 35%
     
  • You can now exchange swift/goliath/spellcaster glove tokens outside of Edgeville (just not in the wilderness or during a duel)
     
  • PvP Boxes, Treasure Caskets, and Treasure chests are now noteable
    • In addition, the noted form of these items now have a right-click "Open-all" option

  • Removed the yell broadcast for treasure casket/chest rares
     
  • Added some new fused pets to the pet fuse box:
    • Holy nightmare pet
    • Limitbreak berserker pet
       
  • Added a ::scrolls command which shows all the scrolls you've unlocked (hunleff/nightmare/DuS/etc.)
     
  • Increased max bank boosters from 20 to 25 (+250 more available bank spaces)
     
  • Increased the max friends list size from 200 to 350
     
  • Made normal fighter torso noteable to make it easier to remove it from the starter bank
     
  • Cosmetic boss pets now gives +15% damage bonus toward their respective boss
     
  • The event is over, but we've still added winter dyes to winter coin shop for 1 coin each for players who have extra coins!
     
  • Redemption prayer is now functional!
    • When the player is hit below 10% of their maximum Hitpoints (without taking lethal damage), Redemption will use the player's remaining prayer points and heal the player for an amount based on their maximum Prayer level.
       
  • Changed the respawn time for Scorpia / Callisto / Venenatis to 10 seconds so it can match other wilderness bosses
     
  • Added killcount to loot broadcasts in Chambers of Xeric on yell (** KC)
     
  • You can now set your PoH as your home teleport if you're a Super Donator+
    • Simply speak with the wizard at Edgeville next to the PoH portal!
       
  • Flask potions will give "empty flasks" after drinking the last dose (unless you have vial smashing enabled)
    • This was a slight tweak which should help for players doing bottom switches
       
  • Moved the max hit dummy at ::meet to northeast of the zone
     
  • Skotizo dark crystals are now a 1/2,500 drop (due to the recent influx)
     
  • Added Dark Korasi to the bloodcore pool for 125,000 bloodcore tokens
     
  • Added Ancestral hat, top, and legs to the bloodcore pool for (500/1,000/1,000) bloodcore tokens
     
  • Blood cleaver now has a protection value
     
  • Added a Black/white/shadow halo to grand promos

 

 

Shop changes

We've updated some outdated shops, tweaking their prices as well as some items.

If you have any more suggestions for shop changes, please submit them on our official Discord (#suggestions / #finished-suggestions channels)!

 

Hotspot point shop

  • Added new Opulent cursed dye for 1,000 hotspot points each
    • They can dye all untradeable Cursed armors, including Cursed void, and Cursed fighter gear
    • Additionally, they can dye ornament cursed void elements (to match the void of course!)

Vote shop

  • Goliath gloves are now 3 VP each
     
  • Swift gloves are now 3 VP each
     
  • "Donator ranks" are now "$10/$50/$100 badges"
    • They increase your total donated by the respective amount, without a limit of your rank
    • Like before, they still DO NOT include donator tickets. They only increase your "total donated" amount!
    • $10 badge costs 20 VP
    • $50 badge costs 100 VP
    • $100 badge costs 200 VP
       
  • Removed some worthless items to reduce clutter and/or confusion for new players..
    • Removed pet mystery box
    • Removed imbued rings
    • Removed point mystery boxes
    • Removed chaotic mystery boxes
    • Removed kiln capes


Blood pool shop

The price changes listed for this shop are on base price meaning they will be reduced if you have the blood perk for shop discounts

  • Changed mbox price to 400 BM
     
  • Changed mchest price to 2,500 BM
     
  • Changed pvp box price to 150 BM
     
  • Changed christmas cracker to 5,500 BM
     
  • Changed pet mystery box to 375 BM
     
  • Changed epic pet box to 6,000 BM
     
  • Changed prize key to 3,000 BM
     
  • Changed divine to 3,500 BM
     
  • Changed elysian to 650 BM
     
  • Changed tanzanite / magma helmet 350 BM
     
  • Changed heavy ballista to 1,500 BM
     
  • Changed elemental weapon prices to 800 BM
     

Bounty point shop

  • Changed SoLs to 2.5M bounties each
     
  • Changed malediction/odium wards to 150K bounties
     
  • Changed obsidian helmet to 150K bounties
     
  • Changed obsidian platebody / legs to 250K bounties
     
  • Changed rune pouch to 1M bounties
     
  • Changed Staff of Balance to 2.5M bounties each


Pure point shop

  • Changed $5.00 bond to 100 pure points each

 

 

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue that allowed bounty target teletabs to bypass teleblock
     
  • Fixed a bug where having less than 3 inventory spaces and opening a vintage casket would cause it to disappear
     
  • Fixed an issue where Nightmare could PJ the fight your in, therefore blocking you from attacking your opponent
    • As a result, nightmare will now no longer attack you if you're being attacked by someone else
       
  • Fixed ::ccbans to display two names per line, providing double the space than before (should aid in lists getting too full)
     
  • Fixed bug with ::afk and following
     
  • Made blood-rev talisman untradeable (originally intended)
     
  • Made skotizo blood dye untradeable (originally intended)
     
  • Fixed a bug w/ the promo system, where the $500 bar doesn't reset @ $450 when you're on the 10% off discount

 

Final Notes

The winter event has come to an end, but due to the high difficulty of Festive BH we've decided to allow progress to xfer over for our next Festive BH (Easter Event). Rates will be improved.

The final tier of the Easter Festive BH will also include the Santa Taunt as well, as compensation.
