As compensation for this long wait time, there will be no caps / limits on token earnings for this event Spring Event Activities Large rabbits (wilderness mobs) There are Large rabbits roaming the deep wilderness! You must have Explosive eggs to hunt them! To acquire explosive eggs, simply interact with the pile of eggs next to the Easter bunny at home There are four different rarities, each with better drops than the other Yellow: common Blue: uncommon Green: rare Magenta: very rare Large rabbits also have a chance to drop "Rabbit's foots" which can be used to upgrade your explosive eggs There are 3 tiers of explosive eggs, each having better damage than the other Egg hunting (F2P roaming) You can find easter eggs all around the F2P world.. Pick them up for spring tokens! There is a chance you'll encounter a rare Gilded egg! You can crack a Gilded egg open for 500 tokens Alternatively, you can save them up and exchange 3x for the limited time Spring event skin token Easter revenants cave (Wilderness multi dungeon) Easter revenants have returned! This dangerous dungeon inflicts magic sickness upon entrance, leaving you with only two exits to escape (one of which requires the Excavator blood perk) Revenants in this dungeon drop a variety of different items, including Gilded eggs mentioned above Mad hatter (world boss) Every four hours the Mad Hatter rises, and the server must defeat him! Any player who survives and dealt a fair amount of damage receives a drop The mad hatter does a random emote out of three possibilities: Dance: Ranged attack Jig: Magic attack Spin: Melee attack PK activities As usual, you cain also earn tokens from a variety of PvP content Spring Event Rewards There are plenty of rewards to enjoy. Hop in game and check them out! This includes the Mad hatter pet which does a random emote for each of your attacks.. Dance: +15% damage for that hit Jig: +25% accuracy for that hit Spin: Heal for 33% of that hit's damage Headbang: All of the above New pet fusions We have TWO fusions released at once for this update! Ultimate olmlet pet A tri-fusion of: 1x Vasa pet, 1x Tekton pet, and 1x Olmlet pet In addition, we've fixed the look of the Olmlet pet's inventory models Holy nightmare pet A fusion between: 50x Prayer spirit pets, 1x Nightmare pet (and 50x blood diamonds) This pet will also drain your opponent's prayer for 1/6 of the damage you deal (stacks with smite & soulsplit) In addition, we've fixed the look of Nightmare pet's inventory models Blade of Saeldor This powerful slash weapon bridges the gap between Ghrazi rapier and Ghrazi blood rapier Hits have a 25% chance to pierece soaking (similar to Ghrazi) Hits restore your prayer for 1/10 of your damage dealt The sword is obtainable from one of two ways: Purchase for 850 blood diamonds in the Blood diamond store Obtain as a rare drop from Rogue's chest This weapon also has a powerful special attack that guarantees at least 25% of your maximum hit Similar to Ghrazi blood rapier, but less strong. Again, this is to bridge the gap between ghrazi & blood ghrazi (and also provide a slash alternative) Swampbark & Splitcestral You can now purchase Swampbark equipment from the Blood shard shop! Swampbark increases duration of bind spells (modern spellbook freezes) by +2 ticks per piece This gear is relatively cheap because of it's low stats, BUT there is an option to upgrade this with Ancestral, into Splitcestral Splitcestral equipment is made by combining Swampbark pieces with Ancestral pieces in the enchantment chest (100% chance) Additionally, each enchantment costs a Bloodchanting stone Splitcestral grants +3 ticks per piece and retains the stats of ancestral gear Blood Looting Bag You can now enchant a Bound looting bag with 25 blood diamonds to create a Blood looting bag Blood looting bags grant you a +25% drop rate in the wilderness if you do NOT have a Yoshi pet out, or in your inventory This mechanic was added as a potential incentive to risk your loot in the wilderness for better drop rate Rather than nerfing yoshi and upsetting a lot of players, we're hoping this is a step in the right direction to promote more riskers We are 100% open to feedback on how we can make this even better, as I'm sure it may require additional improvements (this was added relatively last minute before the event's release) Miscellaneous Content (NEW items) Tome of water This new magic offhand has been added to the Blood shard store Increases water spell damage by 50%, and has a +15 magic attack bonus Leaf-bladed battleaxe This fun weapon has been added to the Blood shard store Cabbage round shield This fun off-hand has been added to the Blood shard store Xerician robes (a.k.a salad robes) This magic equipment set has been added as a spawnable set! Robes of darkness This magic equipment set has been added as a spawnable set! It has been given identical stats to Ahrim's (just a fun cosmetic variant) Gameplay changes / Fixes Inquisitor mace Capped the bleed damage to 50 (5x10) per special attack This means inquisitor mace can no longer stack more than 10 hits of bleed per spec (separate specs still stack) Rogue's chest Rogue's chest rare table rates have been improved overall Tome of fire / frost We've went ahead and reversed the changes to tome of fire/frost (both regular and imbued) from the previous update Dark bows Regular dark bow standard attack has received a base cap of 25x2 (50) Blood / solar dark bow standard attack has received a base cap of 30x2 (60) To clarify, special attack remains unchanged! Bug fixes Fixed a bug that caused magic spells to always smite 5 prayer points Fixed a bug that caused bry staff to proc the sang (e) staff effect Fixed Kharazi war axe's attack speed (it was a tick slower than malevolent) Fixed drop rate bonus for ava's (i) dyed Fixed arrow magnetism for ava's (i) dyed Fixed blood slayer beast hover description It now mentions the +10% accuracy boost on blood slayer equipment Check out the update analysis video by @Phenomenon 4 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
