Death pet suggestion

Can we make death pet(And the variants/fusions of it)actually keep the 2nd most valued item out of your whatever wearing instead of the most valued item? so theoretically if you were you were skulled with Dragon hunter lance and karamja gloves 3, death pet would keep karamja gloves and if you get smited you'd lose dragon hunter lance? death pet,shade genie etc are way too op atm as it is.

10000000% support +1 death pet effects in general need a complete overhaul especially with a 50 prayer smite cap now, its so hard to get smited even with a setup that costs 5T+

Same effect would apply to dopple so rip you boy!

Elementals were left speechless after Ximyoua was smited for sang staff e, so its still possible to smite .

How about using shade genie, sang e, malevolent war axe and an elysian+Untradeables?

If you get smited which is hard, you only lose elysian which id what 2b? Now think how op that setup would be.

Big +1 for me. Would the death variants work the same way?
Or would you say for the shade genie perhaps it'd be, since it keeps +2 items, 1 most valuable, and for a 2nd item the 3rd one? So it still smites the 2nd most valuable item for example?
Or would you say it keeps the 2nd and 3rd most valuable item, and smites the most valuable? I feel like that'd kind of make the shade genie lose its main value though. Curious to see what you think about it!

Was this in multi or singles? I've ran multiple extensive tests with different setups including pets, gears, and weapons along with blood perks. Also tested mechanics that were broken before that were not supposed to have smite and no longer do so like DFS.

Nerf Malev axe and sure. This is just another way for players will trills to shaft mewer players. If death pet annoys you so much then just skip targs using them.

You're the type of dude that never entered the deep wilderness, if you only knew how cancerous death/shade were with cursed void you wouldn't say that, Malevolent war axe smite cap is 50, not op at all.

Doppels are cancer but they wont be banned bc LD uses them. Same w pj timer in deep wild

Smite is and always have been an important game changer. Having a death pet + item protection for one item is like removing smite from the game.
Dpet and others with same effect should only work if you have the chance to get smited. Not in a way where you have +2 for one item.

Wtf did i just read LMAO that’s just asinine. Death pet has been around long time and this is the first whiny remark i heard about it. It’s literally just a +1.
