Content updates

  • SpawnPK Raids
    • We are excited to finally release Raids, starting with the Chambers of Xeric!
      • SpawnPK raids are foundationally similar to the traditional version, but with different mechanics and rewards to fit SpawnPK
      • Speak with the librarian at home in order to get started!
    • Creating a raid party consists of the following:
      • Selecting a raid type
        • Stay tuned for more raid types in the future!
      • Choosing your difficulty (normal, adept, expert, master, or grandmaster)
        • Higher difficulty will result in harder bosses, with better rates
        • Each difficulty, besides normal, requires a certain amount of raids completed
      • Inviting party members
        • You will have four free slots (5 member max) to invite members
        • There are no restrictions for player modes (iron men, hcim)
          • All players will receive drops, just as long as they contribute damage, similar to giant mole
        • Party members are not mandatory, you're free to go solo!
    • Each raid instance is a randomly generated sequence of 3-5 different rooms
      • The last room will always be the final boss, the Great Olm
      • The preceding rooms will either contain demi-bosses, or skilling resources to restock some supplies (see further below)
      • Each boss's hitpoints are scaled based on the amount of members in your party
    • The current raid bosses and demi-bosses are:
      • Tekton
      • Vasa Nistirio
      • Vanguards
      • Vespula
      • Muttadile
      • Great Olm
    • Some bosses may require certain strategies to defeat, so pay close attention!
      • Mechanics are for the most part unique and aren't emulations of RS
    • After all demi-bosses are defeated, you'll be sent to a "resource room" before challenging the Great Olm
      • Within this room you can fish and cook food, as well as gather the "salvaged resource" currency
      • This currency is obtained through fletching, cutting "damp logs" chopped from trees in the room
        • Alternatively, this currency is also randomly received while fishing in the room
      • Rocktail fish can be caught by using worm bait, which is obtained by digging the mounds in the room
      • Salvaged resources can be exchanged for potions and flasks from the Survivalist, who's also located in the room
    • Once you have faced and defeated the Great Olm, you will be able to claim your rewards from the chest at the exit
      • Your chances of receiving rares are improved by:
        • Your accumulated points
        • Raid difficulty set by the party leader
      • Note: some bosses have a chance to drop rare loot even before the final boss (see drop tables)
    • Alongside the standard raid items (twisted bow, kodai wand, etc.) this update introduces new pets:
      • Vasa nistirio pet
        • Keeps magic level boosted by +10
        • Increases spell max hits by +5
      • Olmlet pet
        • Grants immunity to all dragonfire damage (including bolt special attacks)
        • Increases all fire based attack max hits by +5
          • This includes bolt special attacks, fire spells, etc.
      • Vespula pet
        • Grants immunity to venom, poison, and hydra's diseas
    • These new pets are obtained EXCLUSIVELY from raids!
      • You can receive them as direct drops from the bosses (except Olm) or earn a Relic of Xeric from the raids reward chest
        • (Relic of Xeric will reward you a random raids pet)
  • Tektonic armor & Blood Tekton
    • The original Tekton boss (wilderness epic boss and dzone spawnable) has been changed to a red Blood Tekton
    • This boss does not drop the standard raids items, but now drops an exclusive armor set: Tektonic armor

    • We aim to add other "blood" alternatives of raid bosses to the deep wilderness, so stay tuned!
  • NEW Pet fusion: Mystic jad pet
    • Requires ingredients:
      • 2x Mystic dragon pets
      • 2x TzFrozt-Jad pets
      • 250x Blood diamonds
    • Includes the combined effects of the fused pets
  • Blood synthesis pool
    • New items have been added to the bloodcore token shop:
      • Elderblood ring (15,000 tokens)
        • Increases accuracy and damage of blood weaponry by +10%
        • Untradeable and autokeep
      • Puppy mini-pets (250 tokens)
        • Includes the following breeds:
          • Terrier
          • Greyhound
          • Labrador
          • Dalmation
          • Sheepdog
          • Bulldog
    • Blood dragon mini-pet now gives a 5% chance to receive 2X blood money from edgeville PKs
    • King blood dragon mini-pet now gives a 10% chance to receive 2X blood money from edgeville PKs
    • Added a new Bloodcore Lottery system to the pool!
      • You can purchase an entry for 250 bloodcore tokens for a chance to win the full pot!
      • You can purchase multiple entries, but each purchase increases the entry fee by +50 tokens
      • Entering the lottery gives you the following participation bonuses:
        • 1 hour of blood lust (non stackable)
        • 1 hour of +5% drop rate bonus (time stackable)
        • 1 hour of +25% gold drops from PvM (time stackable)
      • The lottery will reset every 48 hours where a random participant will be drawn
  • Pure PK zone
    • NEW Pure PK Point shop items!
      • Gold trimmed alternate god books
        • Book of war (g)
        • Book of law (g)
        • Book of darkness (g)
      • Enchanted house hood
        • Ability to toggle between "main" or "pure" version with alternating stats
        • Costs 100 points and all of the other house hoods
      • Enchanted god book
        • Combined version of all the trimmed god books
        • Costs 100 points and all of the trimmed god bools
      • Task bottle (pking)
        • Costs 7 points
      • PvP mystery box
        • Costs 20 points
      • $5.00 bond
        • Costs 250 points
    • Gold trimmed god books are now autokeep + untradeable
    • Added a trading post to the pure pk zone
  • Dragon claws (or)
    • This new pair of claws can be obtained from the enchantment chest!
      • Costs: 25 dragon claws
      • Success rate: 5%
    • Increased special attack accuracy and maximum hit cap
  • Royal seed pod
    • Added a new feature where you can configure your pod to teleport to the following locations:
      • Edgeville
      • Help zone
      • Camelot
      • Duel arena
      • Pure PK zone
  • Enchanted heart
    • Added the following effects to the enchanted heart:
      • Restored run energy
      • Grants 30 seconds of stamina
      • Reduced cooldown to 45 seconds
  • Amulet of the damned (t)
    • This new amulet can be obtained from the enchantment chest!
      • Costs: Amulet of the damned, 10 fury (or), 15 blood shard
      • Success rate: 5%
    • Greatly strengthens barrows set effects!
  • PvP mystery boxes now have a very rare chance to give Grand Treasure PvP rewards!
  • Added Sanfew serum flasks to the coin shop

Gameplay changes and QoLs:

  • Raised max bank boosts from 4 to 8 (allowing for a total bank capacity of 900 slots)
  • Improved the stats for blood serpentine
  • Improved the stats for dark serpentine
  • Improved dragon claw's accuracy
  • Added treasure caskets to the barrows money making daily activity
  • Added treasure caskets to the battle mage money making daily activity (raised to 150 KC)
  • Blood sabre damage cap raised from 35 to 44, matching the abyssal whip
  • Modified the main NH tournament loadout so fights no longer take too long
  • Edgeville's prolonged PJ Timer has been applied to the pure PK zone
  • Edgeville's prolonged PJ Timer has been applied to PvM combat
  • Slightly increased the distance between targets for freeze spells to reset (raised from 15 to 20 tiles)
  • Twisted buckler changed from +18 range attack to +26
  • Twisted buckler changed from +0 range strength to +4
  • Crystal halberd has been given a level 45 defence requirement to equip
  • Amulet of the damned now gives Torag's a +15% damage increase and +10% accuracy increase
  • Amulet of the damned now has proper verac effects
  • Karamja gloves 1 stab & strength changed from 8 to 10
  • Karamja gloves 2 stab & strength changed from 8 to 12
  • Karamja gloves 3 stab & strength changed from 8 to 14
  • Barrelchest cannon formula has been slightly improved
  • Increased heavy ballista range attack from 120 to 135
  • Increased heavy ballista special attack accuracy by +15%
  • Elemental javelin special max hits have been increased
  • Brimstone ring's chance to ignore magic defence has been increased from 1/4 to 1/3, and the effect has increased from 15% to 20%
  • Balmung crush attack increased from 115 to 145
  • Balmung strength increased from 115 to 120
  • Armadyl battlestaff magic damage bonus increased from +0% to +10%
  • Ancient crossbow ranged strength increased from +0 to +15
  • Dragon dagger special attack accuracy has been increased by +10%
  • Dragon warhammer special attack accuracy has been increased by +10%
  • Ranged attack bonus changes for melee armor
    • In light of recent issues with players ranging in melee sets too easily, we've modified some slight modifications
    • We've simultaneously increased the defence bonus of these melee pieces in order to balance things out
    • Ranged attack bonus changes:
      • Cursed helm: 0 to -5
      • Cursed platebody: -10 to -20
      • Cursed platelegs: -7 to -14
      • Vesta body: -11 to -19
      • Vesta legs: -14 to -17
      • Statius legs: -10 to -15
      • Primal boots: -1 to -4
      • Primal body: -24 to -30
      • Primal legs: -16 to -21
      • Torva body: -25 to -35
      • Torva legs: -15 to -17
      • Justiciar body: -25 to -35
      • Justiciar legs: -15 to -17
    • Ranged defence bonus improvements:
      • Cursed helm: 33 to 39
      • Cursed platebody: 143 to 153
      • Cursed platelegs: 95 to 105
      • Statius full helm: 71 to 85

Bug fixes:

  • Fixed hit delays for distanced range combat
  • Fixed hit delays for distanced magic combat
  • Fixed an issue with hit stacking (primarily caused by the aforementioned bugs)
  • Fixed vengeance remaining active after switching spell books or changing your defence level
  • Fixed skull applications for spell casting even when the spell cast doesn't actually register
  • Fixed bugs allowing you to multi-combat players selectively in single combat (non edge)
  • Fixed dragon claw's special attack delays
  • Fixed improper multi-zone areas nearby mage arena
  • Fixed improper multi-zone areas near the deep wild chinchompa hill
  • Fixed improper multi-zone areas near deep wild hobgoblins
  • Fixed equipping spawnable robe tops
  • Fixed ring of suffering's intended recoil effect with eternal recoil blood perk
  • Fixed grand promo halo's not inheriting the defence requirement of their binded helmet
  • Fixed the selection of high tier skin colors
  • Fixed lighting fires in the kharazi jungle
  • Fixed zaryte bow special attack lasting only 8 seconds instead of 10 seconds
  • Fixed dragon hunter lance's accuracy bonus vs. dragons
  • Fixed hand cannon special attack stalling 5 ticks before resuming combat
  • Lances, TsoTD, SoL, and lockpicks now slash webs
  • Disabled dark serpentine helmet in EdgePVP

Ryan just wanted to say good job on this. This is a lot of work and we bitch a lot about new updates but keep up. It gets very boring without updates :)

so from my understanding, are mythic donators still able to farm tektons? or not because tektons now apart of raids ?

You can farm the new Blood tekton, which drops brand new (exclusive) gear, including most of the previous items (epic boxes, etc.)

Overall good work, but I think this is a bit too op. Considering that blood whip is already an autokeep tent.. to buff this and make it damn near equivalent to a Frost Tent and autokept is just kinda outrageous. Maybe drop it to 2.5-5%, and not to mention that you even gave the blood ring really decent stats + the 10% damage buff and accuracy. This just makes blood weapons too strong for how good they already are.

The price has been adjusted to 15,000 tokens, which should be more reflective of the ring's effects

I mean even if you seem to get lucky to get a drop from tekton the economy is so over saturated with raids items it's not even worth it to raid lmao

Okay kewl update but why is this fuse pet a thing ? You could already get fulled through mage protection, now u can get frozen for 25 seconds with a way higher hitchance?

why does this seem to be the most interesting thing this update?

- Why add raids to a pk server. Couldn't u have made a raids that looks similiar (same map) but worked completely different to make it more Spawnpk related? F.e 2 parties go up against each other, or you have to sabotage your team members to get more points etc etc. things like that to make it more fitting?

And then then the rewards. No new items to the normal raids? So the best thing you can get is some pets (with mediocre effects there are TONS of better pets in the game already), or a twisted bow - the bow that everyone already has and is only worth 40b.

Please tell me WHY I should spend days learning how to do these raids efficiently if the rewards are damn near dead content?

Slightly disapointed to see this. Especially after a lot of feedback and input on the post I made saying that it should become a helm WORTHY of 100mil bounties. Would've loved some PvP related effect on it instead of stats that barelly matter in a game where every weapon is capped anyway.

 

Overall happy with the update, especially bug fixes and updates to pure pking. But the main focus of the update is obviously raids, which seems to me, heavily disapointing.

 

p.s i feel sad i put 2 twisted bucklers in my tp before going to work for 50m ea >.>

also remove the twisted bow from the blood diamond store if u want people to do raids. a 40b aint worth this much effort and it will never be more than that as long as blood diamonds are 400m ea...
