Ryan 315 Posted August 18, 2018 Content updates: Revenant caves We're excited to announce that a brand new wilderness dungeon has been added to SpawnPK! You can access this cave by selecting the revenants cave teleport under Boss Teleports This new revenant cave will be officially replacing our old & out-dated dungeon Entering the cavern will inflict "Magic sickness" upon you for 5 minutes While under magic sickness, you can not teleport above level 20 wilderness with pets or items The cave starts at level 20 wilderness The wilderness level increases every 8 steps north The cave includes a variety of different monsters, including a connection to the new boss: Skotizo Revenants within the cavern are different from the ones you'd find roaming the wilderness Cavern revenants have different drop tables, and drop new exclusive items including: Revenant ether Used to charge revenant weapons and ethereum bracelets Alternatively can be exchanged with the trader NPCs found within the cave Bracelet of ethereum (u) Once charged with ether, this bracelet can be equipped for full damage mitigation against revenants Your bracelet will lose a charge from each attack by a revenant While the charged bracelet is equipped, revenants will no longer aggro you The (charged) bracelet is always lost on death, and all of the ether stored in it will be dropped to the killer You can "toggle-absorption", which will automatically take ether drops from your revenant kills to charge your bracelet Craw's bow (u) When charged with revenant ether, this bow deals +50% damage and accuracy against monsters in the wilderness This item is always destroyed on death, and the ether charge is dropped to the killer Viggora's chainmace (u) When charged with revenant ether, this mace deals +50% damage and accuracy against monsters in the wilderness This item is always destroyed on death, and the ether charge is dropped to the killer Thammaron's sceptre (u) When charged with revenant ether, this staff deals +50% damage and accuracy against monsters in the wilderness This item is always destroyed on death, and the ether charge is dropped to the killer Amulet of avarice When equipped, monster drops within the revenant cave will always be noted Beware, equipping this amulet will cause you to be skulled! Ancient emblems These can be taken to the emblem trader for 100M cash bags The greater the emblem, the more gold you'll receive! Dark totem pieces Used to access Skotizo (see below for more information) Revenant cave teleport Acts as a teletab, takes you directly to the revenant portion of the cave Other monsters found within the cavern include: Demon spawns Found near the Skotizo portal (see below for more information) These demons have a common chance to drop totem pieces Additionally, they have also have a chance to drop large blood money stacks, mystery boxes, and prize keys Lava giants Rune dragons Frost dragons Lava dragons Lava demons You can view the map for the revenent caves below: Skotizo (revenant caves) By collecting dark totem pieces from monster drops in the revenants cave, you can use Skotizo's portal in the Revenant cave When teleporting to Skotizo, you will be entering a private "instance" room There is a wilderness level in Skotizo's lair, but there will not be other players there to attack you Skotizo has a variety of rare drops, including: Dark crystal Used to upgrade revenant weapons into "Skotizo weapons" Skotizo chainmace Skotizo sceptre Skotizo bow Each skotizo weapon has improved bonuses from the respective revenant weapon These weapons also have the same effect as revenant weapons, but do not require revenant ether charges Unlike revenant weapons, they are also not destroyed on death (but like all items, can still can be dropped on death if unprotected) Skotizo pet This new very rare pet has the ability to "pet silence" your opponent for 30 seconds when you hit them When "pet silenced", your opponent's pet's effects will not be functional With the exception of the Death pet effect, which will continue to protect +1 item on death even if pet silenced Combat rework Melee defense Wearing "tank gear" (dharok's, torags, etc.) should now have more proper results against melee attacks As opposed to tank gear, wearing low melee defense bonus equipment should feel punishing/squishy in comparison Disclaimer: Low melee defense bonus (robes/dhide/etc.) isn't nerfed or more punishing than prior to the update, but compared to this recent buff on tank gear, it should feel more punishing. This should especially lead to more beneficial/rewarding switches in NH/Bridding fights. Dharok's set bonus Wearing full dharok's will now also give you a melee accuracy (rather than just damage) bonus based on how low your hitpoints are Path finding Fixed various bugs, improved the fluidity of combat following/pathing Armadyl godsword (or) Increased special attack accuracy bonus Improved damage cap system for both standard attacks and special attacks New pet fusion: Archaic wyrm pet Required ingredients: 1x Bloodwyrm pet 1x Boneguard pet 100x Blood diamonds Includes effects of fused pets (Boneguard and Bloodwyrm) Additional effect: Prayer bonus Not only does this apply for combat buffs, but also prayers such as: Smite (+ Soulsplit) Protection prayers All prayer effects are increased by +5% Gameplay changes, patches, and fixes: Summer event 2018 The summer event has been disabled after a long extension. Player information You can now see your "Total boss kills" under the player information tab This statistic is also now displayed in your chatbox when entering the ::kills command Elemental c'bow Burn damage from the fire bolt special attack will no longer trigger vengeance The actual (initial) hit will trigger vengeance instead Toxic blowpipe Increased attack speed for toxic blowpipe in PvM combat Elder chaos robes These robes now require at least level 40 defence to equip Frost/lava tentacle Fixed attack styles and special bar in the combat tab Twisted buckler Lowered the death protection value for twisted buckler Infernal cape Increased brightness of the flowing texture This also applies for the infernal max cape Loadouts Added a new visual animation/graphic for spawning loadouts Check out the update analysis video by @Phenomenon 1 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
