All In One Suggestion Thread

With this thread I will be removing the content from my other suggestion threads and will continually update and bump only this thread with my suggestions for the server. If I see suggestions others have posted I may add them to this list as they are or I may make changes based on my own personal opinion but will give credit where credit is due regardless. I would also appreciate any response from Ryan regarding any of the my ideas or the ideas of others as to why he may or may not implement them so I would not have to keep something on this list that may never be added by his own decision. I would also like to point out that I am not asking for these all to be added overnight as i'm sure the server will be around for quite a while and this could be a way of obtaining update ideas for quite some time.

 

PvP:

 

3. Wilderness Spawns - Add full NPC wilderness spawns in the wilderness and make them aggressive to give the wilderness the proper feel and make for an easy transition for PKers. Also may aid in escapes especially in areas such as magebank.

4. Mage Bank / Mage Arena - Most of these are currently broken. I haven't tested Pirate Hut or Axe hut but Mage Bank PKing (popular among most teams) is seemingly impossible on here. The webs leading to the lever cannot be cut and I imagine the lever doesn't work either (should teleport you to the Ardounge lever and teleporting from the Ardougne lever should also put you back there but this could be adapted on here to perhaps a lever in Edgeville since nobody goes to Ardy on here). The webs to enter the mage arena cannot be cut either and the arena should contain the god mages which are aggressive. Killing them could also give you points towards purchasing mage related gear similar to RS (perhaps colored infinity pieces?) and you can only use mage while in the arena.

PvM:

1. Revenants - Add a "Pet Revenant" with a very low drop rate. When it's following you, you will have the option to right click 'Transform' your Pet Revenant and it will change to another form of Revenant monster. It will be capable of transforming into all of the possibilities - with the default being a Revenant Dragon. As transforming items have already been implemented into the game (Enchanted Phat/H'ween) I figure this is a possibility as I assume all Revenant NPC models are also included in the game despite some not being present in the Revenant dungeon. This will be something to look forward to for Revenant killers because currently the best drops are a mystery box which contains 1 item of a set which usually isn't one worth too much, or a key to a box you don't have and are forced to sell. This is something that a player can have to show off their hard work at Revenants as the only other drops are coins and other small items which you usually don't get enough of before someone attempts to kill you to make it worthwhile.

4. Giant Mole (Level 29 wilderness, Multi) - New boss which we're in desperate need of as the most recent boss addition was Cerberus which isn't accessible to everyone. One drop should be the Baby Mole Pet while others could be decided on by Ryan or at a later point along with the generic drops of Special restore potions, coins, blood money and possibly donor tickets.

5. Brutal Green Dragons - Add a pet for these as well which would be similar to a Baby Green Dragon following you around. Much like how the Undead Pker Pet is more or less a mini zombie following you around.

Skilling:

1. Dark Crab Fishing - Add "Piles". This NPC will note dark crabs for you. Currently Dark Crab fishing is right next to Kraken in roughly level 40 wilderness. At 99 fishing filling up your inventory doesn't take very long so unless you have a 100b+ pet (Alien Pet) you're finding yourself running from the area quite frequently to bank. The risk of being PKed is fair but you spend more time currently running to the bank than actually fishing. This way people will be able to spend longer there which also increases the popularity of the spot and has people spend more money on dark crab bait which is a money sink. Win win.

2. Woodcutting - Add the Beaver pet to make the skill actually worth something other than just for Completionist cape. Should be somewhat possible to get from 1-99 but not too easy as well.

3. Fishing - Add the Heron pet. Dark Crab Fishing was a nice bonus but there aren't many people that do it and even if the above suggestion was implemented a lot of people still wouldn' t due to the risk of death (not saying that should change necessarily.) This gives people an actual reason to train the skill. Should be somewhat possible to obtain from 1-99 like the beaver pet.

4. Mining - Add the Rock Golem pet. Similar to the other skills there isn't much upside to training Mining, this would definitely give some. Should have same chance of obtaining as other skilling pets if added.

Minigames:

1. Add the Duellist's Cap. Upon implementation this will be rewarded to users after their first stake at duel arena (nothing has to actually be staked), win or lose. That will be the first recorded fight (unless there's currently some record of stakes won/lost which could be copied over?) and the item will be able to be right clicked either in your inventory or right click 'operate'd when worn to see your Duel Arena W/L record. This item will be untradeable, autokeep, and unspawnable with no stats but will be upgradeable to different tiers at 10 wins (T2), 100 wins (T3), 500 wins (T4), 2000 wins (T5) and 5000 wins (T6) to show off one's duel arena prowess and experience. Something nice to be added to the game which will not have that big of an impact but gives something to those who literally do nothing but stake.

New Items/Additions:

 

4. Zamorakian Hasta - Now that dragon spear and zamorakian spear have been added, hasta would be nice and useful. Could also serve as a money sink, just require users to turn their already existing zamorakian spear into a hasta for x amount of coins or blood money (keeping in mind it's just an upgraded item, not a new item, and the z spear itself is only 500 bm the price should be reasonable but also not too cheap.)

7. Saradomin's Tear - Equipped to Saradomin Sword and adds some stat bonuses as well as requiring the special attack to only use 50% energy. Should cost 25m bounty points and after 10,000 hits (can be checked via right clicking and checking/operating when worn) should disintegrate your sword. As the Saradomin Sword is already available ingame for a somewhat high amount of cash this will be a money sink. Having the tear equipped will also obviously make the protection value of the now "Saradomin's Blessed Sword" higher than the usual Saradomin Sword which has a low protection value seemingly.

8. Vesta's Spear - Add to PvP Mystery Box as it seems to be missing and gives another weapon people would enjoy pking with.

9. Zuriel's Staff- Also should be added if not already in the PvP mystery box (apologies if it is, never seen a single one in-game in months of playing.)

10. Morrigan's Throwing Axes - Same as above 2 (also apologize if this is present in the PvP mystery box, only seen Javelins as long as i've played.)

12. Staff of Light - Staff of the dead is more or less the 07 counterpart of Staff of Light while Arcane Stream Necklace is the newschool counterpart of the Occult Necklace. Both of these are already in-game and adding their counterparts would give players the ability to choose either the oldschool or newschool feel instead of a mismatched pairing. Should be added to coin shop with the 2 currently existing ingame for a similar price. Appeals to both 07 players and those who preferred pre-eoc PKing. Edit: Occult now ingame, just need SOL now :D

13. Amulet of the Damned - Gives a reason for people to use barrows instead of constantly PKing with OP gear. If implemented with the proper degrading effect it could also act as a money sink if added through the coin store. Has different effects on each barrows set when the full set is worn and should only be tradeable when non degraded (degrades after first hit / use).

14. Chaotic Kiteshield, Eagle-Eye Kiteshield, Farseer Kiteshield - Currently there are very few shields spawnable or non spawnable to use ingame for the Melee (Divine, Ely, Dfs and D square which are spawnable, and defenders which have little defensive value), Magic (Arcane, Malediction ward that not many use or a book with no defensive value, that's it), or Ranged (Nothing really besides Odium Ward.) These will fix that and should be implemented through the Chaotic Mystery Box like their weapon counterparts with an equal chance of receiving any of the 5 weapons or 3 shields.

15. Onyx Ring (i) - Blood money store. Was very popular on SS (former #1 ranked server) with melee PKers but also hybrids both in max and in welfare/mystic. Decent stats but shouldn't cost too much probably around the same price as other (i) rings in there currently.

16. Looting Bag - Added to Bounty Store for around ~15m bounty points. Usable both in and out of the wilderness and acts as a second inventory (28 spots.) Very useful for PvMers not wanting to pay out for a Yoshi Pet to telegrab their drops for them. When you die with it you will lose the items inside (taking into account protection values including both items outside of and inside of your bag) but the bag will be autokeep / untradeable like Rune Pouch was made to be.

 

17. Volcanic Whip Mix / Frozen Whip Mix - Used to make Frozen Whip and Volcanic whip. Will be untradeable and kept on death to not have to continually spawn a new whip. Could also have a slight stat bonus but not as high as blood whip which would make that perk less valuable. Also something cosmetic for those who enjoy that type of thing and gives a new reward from the Bounty Store which is lacking in rewards.

18. Dragon Pickaxe - Speeds up mining, Dragon Hatchet is in-game for woodcutting but to my knowledge Dragon pickaxe is not for mining. Could be something like 100m in the coin shop and special attack should also boost mining slightly and temporarily.

19. Ardougne Cloak 4 - Decent stats especially for hybrids and gives something in place of completionist cape that PKer accounts would be able to use rather than the usual Kiln cape or Fire cape. Could be obtainable as a vote reward.

20. Wilderness Teleport Tabs - Put in Bounty Store (cheap per 1 maybe 50k which is 1 T1 emblem), Blood Money Store (2-3 BM) or Coin Store (cheap but money sink as they're destroyed upon use.) Teleports you to various wilderness locations.

21. Salve Amulet (e) - Add to slayer shop for around 500 points, useful against undead creatures which means it would be very beneficial against Revenants and Undead Pkers.

22. Max Cape - Add max cape and make it attainable only by Trained Accounts, but make the requirements the 99s only and not the killstreak/kills. Stats should be equivalent to a kiln cape but autokept on death and obtained through King P like the Comp Cape.

10. Spellcaster Gloves - Currently Swift, Goliath and Spellcaster gloves are available in the Vote shop while only Swift and Goliath gloves are available in the blood money shop..? Add Spellcaster gloves to the bm shop..

 

Bug Fixes:

 

6. Ancients, Pathfinding and Spellbook glitches - Need to be fixed as well as well as being frozen only until your opponent runs offscreen.

8. Venom/Poison/Leech Prayers - You can be poisoned/venomed or even leeched by a user with leech prayers on just by hitting them even if they don't hit you back which should not happen. Poison/Venom also takes place if a player's recoil or vengeance damages you when you hit them, even if they themselves have not hit you back. Shouldn't happen.

 

11. (T) items- Are currently listed as not spawnable but can be spawned. They are also received as rewards from the Fancy mystery box but should not be.

12. PvP Timer / Target System - Currently if a user who is your target leaves the wilderness they do not remain your target for the full duration of the timer, which they should.

 

14. Korasi's Sword - Special attack should hit through melee prayer, currently does not. While it does damage based off of your strength bonus and melee stats, it hits as a mage attack and thus only protect from mage/deflect mage should protect from the special attack, not melee protection prayers. Any other attack with the sword will not be effective through melee prayers however, only the special attack.

 

15. Rune Knives (p) - Are currently melee weapons with melee attack styles and should not be. Assume this is true of all variants other than the basic rune knives.

 

Forums/Website:

1. Remove permanently banned users from highscores so they no longer appear and take up space. Additionally some of the users banned are for kill farming (such as #2) and don't deserve to be ranked in kills obviously. They broke the rules and deserve no recognition, also allows newer and actually active players to move up in the ranks.

 

Update 8/8/16:

Just one idea for a major update for now - clue scrolls. There aren't quite enough monsters on the server let alone different tiers of them to support easy/medium/hard/elite/master clue scrolls so just make them all one tier (Just "Clue Scroll".) Obviously they should be untradeable as well. The rewards would include all current applicable rewards from the real game including new additions. I understand as some of them don't have models publicly released this could take a while, but Ryan has added several new 07 additions ingame already so i'm sure he's capable (dwh, ballista, etc.) They should be dropped commonly by boss monsters (Revenants/Zulrah/Kraken/Chaos Ele/Abyssal Sire/Undead Pkers/Brutal Dragons/Tamed Cerberus/KBD/Barrelchest) and uncommonly by Battle mages in the mage arena and other monsters (slayer monsters from spawner, not sure if there are any others.) They should require a random number of 3-6 steps to complete based off of the real clues/locations.

All items should be included even the new ones. It would give people a large content update ingame with a lot of items to earn. Many recent updates have been good but people grind for a day or two and get everything that was released. This would require a lot of time and effort and actually be fun as well as doable by just about everyone. It will also be unique as this is something most servers don't have, not sure there's any servers at all with the new items. As for worries about the Fancy mystery box, it should maintain value as many of the items from there aren't from clue scrolls so it will remain a unique method for obtaining them. With this update, certain items that are spawnable already should be removed from the game / made unspawnable (powdered wig, (t) items, any others that are spawnable currently.) This would be something I assume many people would want ingame and would also introduce a new pet (Bloodhound) :D

Thanks i've just added another small item tweak and will be adding ideas for implementing Farming and Hunter maybe sometime tonight

 

Also adding an idea for staff commands

 

Edit: Hit 30,000 character limit so I won't be adding Farming or Hunter ideas at the moment, not fully sure how i'd suggest them being added anyways.

Wasn't fully aware plus even so didn't know if the code would be somewhat useful. If nothing else it provides a list of what to add such as a full list of the Kill Messages or NPC IDs for the wilderness spawns whether or not the code is useful, was the best source I could actually find with a full list. :x

Ragging will NEVER be illegal - don't piss people off and you'll be fine.

 

No player should ever be punished for a style of pking they wish to take on - if we can ragging we're banning your stupid ass style too.

honestly didn't have time to read this. some of the pet suggestions seem quite pointless (just being honest) also the reason you cant note flasks is because they are a donators only item. if you could note them they could be traded to none donators, same goes for rocktails.

I would like to see vestas spear added as I used to love using it, very accurate weapon. also the zammy spear with special attack.and on that note maybe we could add the corporeal beast which would drop divine shields and ele shields in good moderation (maybe other loots too)

Most of the pets are just to add variety ingame, not only because some monsters drop solely useless/worthless items but because there's tons of pets worth 1b an then most other pets are worth like 75b+ leaving a massive gap. As for the noted rocktails/flasks they can still do it if they want and they aren't hard to obtain, not making them able to be noted just makes it a pain in the ass. Non donors still won't be able to spawn them.

 

The reason I didn't include Corp is because i've seen multiple others do it and was told Ryan has read/thought it over and will add it in the future if he decides to so it would likely be a waste to do it again
