Suggestion: Ban ragging completely

Why: People will quit, it's the fact and there's no denying it. Ragging ruins PKing completely, where of people will sit at the border and attack you as soon as you come out in verac/ely with no risk and sit on you until you leave and then they will yell "cleared fgt omg we smacked u #bully-squad"

Imo, it isn't fun for any new players, nor any players. It is banned on quite alot of pig servers, infact most of them, near-reality ended up having to ban it aswell due to the impact on the PK-player related base.

Sure, i've rushed. It does not matter if it's a reason to rag, ragging kills playerbase, rushing does not.

It is not that hard to write ::home and click enter once you get rushed, it is hard to enter the wilderness when you have 4 children sitting an attacking you the second you enter, dis-allowing people from PKING which is the point of the server.

So you want to rush and have nothing happen to you? Ragging is what controls the rushers. Don't give them a reason to rag you. I personally don't 'rag' unless they do something to me. I have my ignore list full of people on my list. Don't piss people off and you will be okay.

It didn't get banned for no reason from all the big servers, already seen a few of my friends ditch the server completely and go to roat even though it's shit, it doesn't have the raggers.

There is also a reason why ragging exists. If you're going to do anything to piss off someone, like rush them, why do they deserve to be rushed and do nothing about it? Should we ban rushing too? You can bypass rushing, you can't bypass ragging, there is a massive difference which you obviously fail to realise.

It isn't that hard to TP while getting rushed and come back, the person isn't on you all the time, is he?

 

While ragging you are forced to leave the wilderness for GOOD until the person logs offline or stops ragging, which can often take hours upon hours.

Does that NOT kill the playerbase? Because if you ask me it does. Why would anyone not fight someone, or rush them for that matter?

There is no need to have ragging, it is destructive compared to rushing, if you don't want to get rushed you pray and TP home once you get rushed, go back in and you probably won't be rushed for a good 10-60minutes unless you're skulled risking bank with shit gear. But if you get ragged you can't do anything against it without go PVM or just simply log off and not go on, there's a big difference which you completely fail to realise.

Ragging is apart of pking, like Rushing, Bridding, NHing.

 

It's not hard to antirag, especially with items that now destroy divine effect.

However, as I X I said, don't give reasons to be ragged and you probably won't be ragged, it's simple.

 

Ragging doesn't ruin the playerbase, if you quit because you're getting ragged you need to harden the fuck up.

however, considering its banned on the main private servers like roatpkz,near reality, and even ikov.

 

That shows that there had to be a little problem there, maybe hes right, it could be doing something to the server causing many players to quit.

Ragging should never be illegal on ANY server.

 

As I said before, Ragging is apart of pking, just like any other form (Rushing, Risking) etc.

 

Here's an idea.

Don't piss people off? If you don't piss people off chances are you won't get ragged.
