What does everyone think of the new ranging mechanic? I feel magic works well with the quicker time from cast to hitsplat, but range is a bit off? Just wondering how everyone else finds it. Might just be a case of getting used to it again.

Maybe a slightly better idea would be for when smited with a death pet variant out, your most valuable of your kept on death items is dropped, instead of your least.

Hi mate. I think since this post was last commented on there has been a new rule in place that makes ragging against the rules (although I can't remember if this is only in Edgeville or elsewhere in the wild too), therefore I don't think a blacklist command is really necessary at the moment

Big +1 from me. Have watched Anthem play for a while now, well over a year, and despite not becoming particularly close I always see him helping out in the Survive cc. He'd make a great addition to the team. Good luck mate.

No. A 90% drop rate does not mean what you think it means. Are you suggesting that because 450 is 90% of 500 that the rate at 90% DRB would be 1/50 instead of 1/500? Because that's what doesn't make sense (because in this case, a 100% DRB would mean that you were always guaranteed to get the loot). Instead, your drop rate BONUS is added onto your normal drop rate (as in 1). So at 90% DRB you now have 1.9 times the chance of receiving an item than someone with 0% DRB (because 1+0.9=1.9). This means your chance at 0% DRB is 1/500 is translated to 1.9/500 at a 90% DRB. 1.9/500=0.0038. 1/0.0038=263.2 Ergo your 1/500 rate at 0% DRB is now a 1/263.2 rate at 90% DRB.

How at all is that what I was saying?

No it isn't - under that logic if you had 100% DRB then you would get every drop every single kill.

No, a 1/5000 drop with a 90% DRB turns into a 1/2632 drop. 100% + 90% = 1.9 5000/1.9 = 2632

Event RPG has the wrong attack styles - there should be the kick option as per osrs (crush attack style)

I definitely agree with getting rid of the max hits. I would much prefer my max hits to be based off my gear than capped at some arbitrary number. It's often pointless making a gear upgrade from bandos to cursed obsidian when your max hits aren't affected

Yes, I get what you mean. I agree, this would be a good suggestion. However, to do this you'd need to change the strength bonuses of lots of weapons I'd imagine - AGS couldn't remain at 132 like we're used to. On OSRS a player in our 'spawnable' gear would be able to hit 80 too. How could we do this without making new players totally unequipped for pking?

I agree, it would be nice for max hit caps to not exist, but at the same time I don’t want people in max hitting 100s with an ags (or with anything else for that matter)

Surely, if anything, the players who are most likely to have forum accounts would be veteran players. Case in point: you and I having a chat here. With this in mind, if everyone were to vote the results would be skewed even more in favour of banning ragging.
