This is especially relevant with the update containing new berserker necklace (i) and the upgraded obsidian maul - but the existing effect has not been added for the other tzhaar weapons!

Who has one? I'm assuming very few since it is so expensive. How do you think it performs? Do you like it? Is it worth the ~1.5T you paid for it? How could it be changed slightly to be worth the high cost?

Just tested and it seems to not boost dbow by 10%

Having just got 500 blood slayer points, I thought I'd buy and test the blood slayer bow. It seems to be capped at 25 (I'm using an elderblood ring, too), at least without any pets. Does anyone think this maybe deserves a little buff since 500 blood slayer points can be considered 50b? I worked this out since a blood relic is 500b, and is worth 5000 blood slayer points.

To further this post, the following blood weaponry doesn’t receive a 10% damage boost with the elderblood ring: - blood slayer bow - blood dark bow - blood crossbow These next items do have the damage buff, but I’ve noticed are pretty useless in pvp: - blood slayer spear (very very very inaccurate) - blood staff (mage works well, but melee hits very inaccurate - do staffs have the correct attack bonuses attributed to their attack styles! I think they don’t)

I think one of the problems is that it doesn’t stack with the elderblood ring, that would be a nice addition

@PhenomenonYou could add elderblood ring to this list. Suggestion: Tevin, have a go with elderblood ring and see what you think. Personally I think it's not worth the ~1.5T cost of the ring for the bonuses it gives. However, would appreciate your thoughts (perhaps a video - I think it'd provide good variety for you) Thanks

E gloves cost me around 1.3T at the time. They're good, but certainly not worth that much. I'd start with the untradeables that you KNOW you're going to get - for example you know if you get a relic and obsidian platebody you can 100% get a cursed platebody. The best autokeep gear though are definitely the pets though

I have suggested this a few times before, and in my most recent mentioning this suggestion received a (surprising) amount of backlash for an update that I simply see as a bug fix. My suggestion is to make the obsidian melee weapons (Toktz-xil-ak, Tzhaar-ket-em, andToktz-xil-ek) receive a 20% damage buff when used in conjunction with the berserker necklace as per OSRS. The Tzhaar-ket-om (to us, the obby maul) is already affected by this damage buff, so I'd suggest reusing that part of code to work with the other weapons too. These obsidian weapons would and should also work in conjunction with the obsidian armour set effect. When ALL pieces of obsidian (or cursed/mythic etc. obsidian, for SPK) are worn, the wearer is granted a 10% damage and accuracy buff for these obsidian melee weapons. Again, this seems to work with the maul, but the other melee weapons are lacking. A few people seem to worry about the fact that these weapons would be too powerful for spawnable gear, but to those I remind you that the necklace has a -10 attack bonus for all melee attack styles, as well as having -20 defence bonus in all styles. This would therefore make the weapons (which already have poor accuracy) pretty useless in main pking situations, although I'm sure many would want to test them out, and this should bring a fair bit of variety to pking. They have quite a lot of scope to be used for pures, but then again I still imagine they will not be changing the meta in any way. I do not want the obsidian rings or staff to be given these buffs (as they aren't in OSRS). Let me know what you think. Jimm0

So now there's been a new Obsidian Maul and Berserker Necklace. Hurrah! However there still hasn't been a fix for the other obsidian weapons. You'd think that a bug fix should come before creating and implementing a new weapon, right?!

Great to see all these update, especially the Obsidian Maul and Berserker Necklace. But PLEASE why would you update this without fixing the Berserker Necklace to work with all obsidian weapons as per OSRS? I've suggested this so many times now, and it's frustrating. -

I've never seen an issue with the TP in that regard before. I'd be surprised if that had happened, but I suppose it's possible.

The best counter to this is simply that everyone was a new player at some point. Some people made the grind to become veterans, or are on the way to becoming veterans, and others don't enjoy the struggle. It's the same with any RSPS (veterans have money, new players do not)

I don't really mind, since I don't PVM, but I think that the BH tele should put you NEAR and not ON your bounty target. Just outside of minimap distance seems like a perfect idea. +1

Really like the idea of orn kits for maul and b neck - these could be non-autokeep, so you'd have to protect the upgraded maul or b neck

My point is that the berserker necklace and obsidian armour damage buffs already apply to the obsidian maul on SPK. I am only asking for this effect to work with the other obsidian weapons too. As you put, even though the maul already has these buffs it isn't used much in PVP! Therefore, isn't it fair to say that it ISN'T OP at this point?!
