  1. Are you calling people toxic simply for playing the game? You being new or not is completely irrelevant when it comes to the topic of toxicity and wilderness. Just because they're following the purpose of the wilderness (which you should be aware of considering it is a PvP server) that doesn't mean that they're wanting any new player to quit, nor does it mean that they are toxic.

It's rather pathetic to use "I'm new" as an excuse to do whatever you want to do and how you want to do it. People that gives a fuck about whether you're new or not when you step into the wilderness are probably non-existent.

  2. Feels like you made this thread simply for the staff to acknowledge that you help new players by giving them items, as if that’d somehow in whatever world increase your chances.

Correct me if i’m wrong, but if I am right then you’re fucking pathetic.

  3. And how will the boosts help once the prices crash and items become unsellable due to the massive overflow simply because every PvM’er is so desperate for more and more boosts and chooses to think about themselves and not the future?

Feels like very few people here have any experience with how much drop rate boosts affects the economy. And incase you don’t know... once its truly fucked, the only way out is to reset and re-work the rates, which is something you definitely shouldn’t want. Even if its only for one weekend, a lot of harm can be done.

An event that increases drop rate is a bad idea, especially since it’d be globally giving EVERYONE a boosted drop rate. Its true that it will attract more people, but it’ll bring more bad than good. Besides, there’s plenty of other activities involving PvM that can be arranged to attract people.

people make money with rwting so does ryan with taking donatins i dont see rwting as a rule break duo ryan could care less what we do with irl money.

Yes, Ryan makes money via donations which is pretty much RWT, but the thing is that Ryan uses that money to better the server. The donation system is and will always be RWT, and there's a reason as to why you're only permitted to donate to Ryan.

What you can't seem to understand is; Ryan's income is through donations, without them the server wouldn't last long at all. The reason RWT has such a harsh punishments on mostly all servers, is because it decreases the amount of donations he gets - which means less profit and that's bad for the server.

You might wonder, how does this make him lose money? Well let me tell you:
When people RWT, they do it for their own benefit. You see, if RWT was allowed, people would never use the donation system, as other people would give you more for the price compared to the donation system - to make you buy from them <- which is simple business right? And if every player were to undercut the prices of the donation system, which is what will happen (and maybe even not take IRL money but other stuff) is that people wouldn't donate and help the server out because they'd get more for their money by purchasing from someone else. With that being said, RWT isn't a stupid rule, if you enjoy playing the server then decreasing the amount of donations isn't the way to go.
TLDR: RWT decreases donations, which decreases the time-length of the server.

  5. I can understand why you want ragging to be illegal, at least in Edgeville, but you have to realize it is actually a form of PvP and even though it may or may not destroy the new community, it will never be banned because each time you set a wilderness rule (what you can or can not do) it has a rather big chance of decreasing the activity of it. Might not exactly be that reason, but its true either way. If there's been plenty of posts about this, and all of them denied, then of course they've reviewed it and each time denied it? Doesn't mean you should stop trying but it sends a clear message that its very unlikely that its getting changed.

I'd love to be a staff member and help these new players. Would love to help the good side of the community. But then i would have to be forced to help the bad side of the community and since this server is doing literally nothing to prevent it. There's just no way of getting around that. Especially since you put the bad side of the community over the good side.

What? How are they prioritizing the bad over the good? Just because they don't want to risk losing tons of active players they prioritize a bad side? Just because they don't want to remove peoples access to Pk more freely, they are promoting the bad side? Just because they don't add specific rules to the wilderness, they love toxic players? Pretty sure their job is to eliminate the bad sides (which is what they do), not to support it. Should at least know that before you think about going for staff.

I see the potential to put this server in the #1 best rsps server position. But if you don't get new players and keep them here. Good luck with that one. @Ryan @Ramzi @Phenomenon

There's always new players quitting everywhere, its not new. But I can promise you if Spawnpk wouldn't get new players (that stay) frequently, the player base wouldn't be like it is right now. Just because ragging is allowed doesn't mean this server will die out or that it wont grow further.

My suggestions just happen to benefit me all the time. I suggest PvM content(which I do), I suggest Donator content(which I am a sponsor), I suggested veteran rewards(which I am), and while I don't do pvp much, I try my best to bring it to the table when it comes to pvp content. The economy wouldn't take a dent at a veteran cape the way I suggested it. Have you even realized the absurd amount of capes we have on the server, all of which have similar identical stats? Some are tradable, some are not, some have benefits, and some don't. I've suggested ele comp cape for sponsor donators but people deemed that too "OP" and 'pay to win" when ele comp cape isn't even the best cape. Let show you a list of the current capes, which just happen to mostly be identical.

    • Fire cape(same stats as max cape)
    • Fire Max cape(same stats as kiln cape)
    • Kiln Cape(same stats as blood cape)
    • Blood Cape(same stats as kiln cape)
    • Eternal Blood Cape(just a bit worse than comp cape/red comp cape/ele comp cape)
    • Obsidian Cape(r) (same stats as kiln cape- auto kept kiln cape basically)
    • Max cape( worst cape, even regular fire cape has superior stats)
    • Comp cape/Red comp cape/Ele comp cape (all identical stats and bonuses with the exception of ele comp having 10% drop rate bonus)
    • Infernal Cape: (BIS, best cape for melee but doesn't have perks/bonuses of the comp capes making ele comp cape superior)
      • V.I.P. Wings (same stats as kiln cape)
      • Legendary Wings(same stats as comp cape)

How do you feel about eternal blood cape, costing only a decent 5K blood money to be just about the same stats as the best cape in game? Progression rewards(veteran rewards) should always be prioritized over potential p2w content.

Over all, infernal cape happens to have better stats but it doesn't have the best utility like ele comp cape. Mind you having a BIS cape you can buy in game is heavily P2W, and veteran cape would be ranked the same. If anything to make you guys feel more at ease, it could have fire cape stats but it would have a 15% drop rate bonus or 5% damage boost making it an alternative and not the best cape.

What does all of that have to do with a veteran award needing to be so good, or any of the questions except for the 4th? Might not have understood what you meant, I probably don't need to anyway '-'

Most servers choose to give people a cosmetic reward or just a rank, to show their loyalty. Because if not, people don't play because they're loyal, they'll play simply to obtain the item. Instead the rank/item that would normally be given to "loyal people" will be given to people who simply play to gain more money. Whether the reward would be untradeable or the stats of the infernal or the +15% drop rate that you just seem to love, that's still pretty damn good for something that you don't even have to work towards. And will benefit them in the long-term.
If you want to completely ruin the point of being a veteran, as well as even crash most item prices (looks like you aren't completely aware of how much 15% is, especially when there's 275% or whatever already, lol) then feel free to, but it would be extremely sad, especially for those who weren't selfish and actually were loyal. Pretty pathetic if you'd prioritize selfishness over honor.

And btw, if every player would have a cape that's matchable to the infernal cape (long-term) then why would they buy it? And since it takes long to obtain unless you dice, then of course it'll drop in price? Any item that shares the same benefits of the veteran cape would decrease in price.

But if you so must have stats on it, why not just have it share the same stats as the completionist cape? Since its obtainable through p2w / and isn't trade-able. And Jesus Christ, no more drop rate bonuses, 275% surely is enough lmao.

  7. Got a few questions aye, apologies if I haven't read your post completely, as its hard for me to read such colorful posts.

Why exactly do you want veterans to be given one of the best cape in-game? How is giving them a cosmetic item a slap in the face? Why wouldn't a cosmetic pet be cool enough? Is it only because you're the one getting it that you want it so be so good? Why does it have to be just infernal cape that it has to match with, why not a decent cape instead?

Spawnpk being a PvP or a PvM server has no say within the topic of "rewards for veterans", there's cosmetics in all servers for a reason. That's regardless of whether it'd be a PvP or PvM focused server. Some people like cosmetics, some don't - there's no denial in that. So I don't really understand why you would laugh at cosmetic rewards, like do you laugh at sleds and stuff like that as well?

Not to like be rude or anything, but I do really believe you're simply trying to benefit yourself, either way a rank or a cool item would show more appreciation than crashing an items price. Btw, you need to think long-term about this.

Hey, Which program did you use to record the client without having dark sides? P.S Nice video :^)

OBS, you'll have to adjust the client by holding shift though.

  10. It's not really a pain to give ranks, it's done rather quickly. And it's not like they're forced into giving each member their rank right away, they'd only give it to those who've requested it. Besides that, Ryan and Ramzi wouldn't have to do it if they decided to get forum staff (which definitely should be introduced for numerous reasons).

I agree with the suggestion, +1.

  11. Can you get a fix to this for Mac users?

Downloading the JRE Java just makes me unable to open the client, so I must have JDK to be able to play. The Jarfix application is also for windows users, so I can't use that either. None of the guides in the general fixes thread work either.

    @Ryan

  12. If you in any way got offended or thought how Kellatha handled the situation was rude, you’re just extremely sensitive. There’s nothing the said mod said that could possibly offend you? If facts offends you thats your problem, not any one else’s. If you found that offensive, I have no idea how people can explain it to you without you ending up offended.

Sharing the evidence upon request is really not a ’demand’ unless you’ve actually been punished, which you haven’t been. You’ve simply been warned. You’re the one who should’ve been mature and accepted Kellathas decision to not share it with you, as there’s really no reason to, lol.

Other than that, I believe Despair said it all.

no reason to look at rest of thread where 3 ppl post "omg yes support" and ryanking responds to each one individually in different posts.

the context was headhunter asked casey to have her own opinions instead of saying "xxx said this and i support that as well"

so headhunter being a nice person had questions to help add to this staff app to further see who ryanking is and you call him a retard for it.

Usually people look into information about what they're commenting about before they start firing their opinions, but I guess you don't then lol.

He didn't have questions, he was making the statement that the aforementioned mod didn't give an all honest comment. More or less saying that his opinion means nothing since he agreed with the other commenters - how exactly is that nice?
If Casey agrees with the past commenters, his opinion shouldn't and wont be less valuable just because of that reason.

If you actually would care to read for once, I didn't call him a retard for criticizing or whatever he was trying to do, I called him it because of the specific comment being completely out of context.

Edit: To give my opinion on the applicant:
I believe Ryan is pretty mature, helpful and has a pretty positive attitude. From my point of view, I reckon he'd be a decent supporter.
Although there's not any forum rules, I beg you to not reply to each feedback with comment you get individually, Ryan.

you must be retarded to not understand what he meant.

    1. What do you say if people start attacking (verbally or physically) a police officer who shot / killed a white / black person.

    2. Do you know the stories are true that are being spread around. Either the police officer's or witnesses.

    3. Do you know if the black / white man actually wanted to harm the police officer with a knife?

    4. Do you know if the police officer didn't want to shoot the black / white man?

do you need a 5 paragraph essay to understand simple shit?

Uhm, why exactly did you jump into the conclusion that I supposedly didn't know what he meant?

If you'd chill and maybe take a minute or two to actually look at the thread itself, you'd realize that what he said is completely irrelevant to what's been posted on this thread. Meaning that it made no sense to the specific topic.

  16. What Despair is trying to say is that there's a huge difference between a forum moderator and forum administrator, that being - forum moderators responsibility is simply to keep the forums clean, and that's pretty much it. Meanwhile a forum administrator has the main priority of updating the forum, that doesn't mean just ticking a box on and off, it means you must be familiar with the html coding language, having an admin that aren't aware of what they're doing in the admincp could cause a shit ton of harm. That's why there's no promotion from forum mod to admin unless you're aware of the coding language. Which means... unless you know that, forum mod would and should be your rank until you resign from it.

That doesn't necessarily mean that there's needed any big trust, you're able to limit what access you give to a person inside the admincp and modcp, so they can't really do any harm. I mean they still can do any harm, but it's nothing that cant be recovered fast. If the right permissions are given, giving mod rank in-game requires more trust than to be given forum admin on the forum.

Buut, you don't need a new forum admin to keep it cool if you already have Ramzi/Ryan. Only thing required then is a forum mod. Whoever is eligible to get it is something I don't care about, but if you're wanting a smooth forums then you better get to work!

  17. Introduce Forum Moderators & Forum Administrators, alongside with specific rules that would apply for the forum.

Would solve all the problems within toxicity, as long as they're good at it. With the new roles, it wouldn't make in-game staff having to prioritize the forum at any time. Honestly would expect every server to have this in 2018, but apparently not lol.

    • It may have costed me a lot of cash to achieve, but i had a point to make.
    • I also would not spend a single AGS trying to hunt the ornament version of it, nor do i think others will.
    • I definitely would be on board with a cosmetic upgrade, but by no means should we add an auto-keep feature or boosted stats/effects.

Do all you kids care about nowadays is customs? Get good at the game and PK without ridiculously overpowered items.

If the point you were trying to make is that there's too many of them in the economy, causing the (or) versions to be over-used/pretty common very quickly, then you didn't even have to purchase the god swords to do that, but that's up to you right. This point holds some kind of value yes, however do remember that he did mention a success rate for this "up gradation" to happen. Hell, we could just make the rate 0.5%, until the the amount of god swords have been decreased dramatically, and then change the rate if it's too low. The rate would obviously be discussed if this update is being considered. No matter what the rate is, as long as people try to upgrade it, it'll be a sink.

What you would do shouldn't affect the term of the actual update, it's rather what the other people will do - which seems like a fair few people who have commented are willing to do, and well we can't really see the future but I'm sure plenty of people would love to at least try an upgraded version of the swords. But if your opinion is completely ignoring that fact, then sure continue the ignorance. You have to think of how it'll benefit in the long run.

Don't know why you're so upset about 'customs', but does anyone want them to overpowered? Increasing accuracy (as an example) by 'a bit' doesn't mean 99.99% max hit? He hasn't given out full details to what he wants the stats to be, but honestly if you're that dumb to think that it'll be the most overpowered weapon that'll ever exist, then I don't know man. Obviously the stats would be discussed, and again... "a bit" doesn't mean much/ a lot.

You'd think that people would have the will to look at the update idea itself, and let the adjustment happen later on. As it seems, your reason for not wanting this is due to the massive overflow and the fear that they'll be too overpowered, which literally is all about adjusting the idea itself. There's no reason to not support this if that's your problem, as again... it can be adjusted <- which is why it's a suggestion. And yes, I just assumed that you disliked it due to your response being sent out in an aggressive way.
