Rehab NPC

Hello SpawnPK,

As many of you know the gambling on here is quite exciting and addicting, and i'm sure many of us have gotten carried away once or twice, and had ended up gambling more than what we could afford to lose, or when you win a lot and you tell yourself "I'm never gambling again", but then hours later you're back to gambling just to lose it all and rage.I believe there should be an NPC(located at gamble/duel),that could offer the player the option to go on rehab from gambling/staking.I have seen something similar on another server and I think it would be a great addition to SPK as well. There could be an NPC "Addict Andy/Addicted Andy" or something along the lines, this NPC would give you the option to put yourself on rehab which would prohibit the player from sending/accepting Duel/Gamble requests. The NPC would give you the option to choose 'x' many days for the rehab duration, it would then give you a dialogue to confirm and stating that once it's confirmed the rehab duration can no longer be lifted and must be served. I believe this option would help players stop their urge to gamble and give them time to rebuild/take a break from gambling etc. Please comment any pros/cons you may come up with.

Q: What if they just trade/drop their items to another account to avoid the rehab?

A: Well if they're willing to go to that extent there are some options

1) If you're really that addicted and you go out your way to avoid the rehab then just let them gamble and be addicts.

2) Prevent trading/picking up items with the same IP address if 'x' player is on rehab.

Q: What if I get hacked/accidentally put on rehab/wrong number and want it removed

A: If there isn't going to be a 2) option as stated above to prevent the same IP than you may use another account, or there could be an ::unrehab command for staff if really necessary, but there shouldn't be any accidents as there will be a confirmation dialogue stating your rehab duration.

I like this, people being cleaning = people more likey to quit imo. theres a reason for 1 800 gamble. Its a issue for some people and id hate to see people fuck up there irl situation for in game.  Not everyone can play 07 and make gp to donate I like the idea.

or could you know just not gamble? whenever you feel the urge to gamble just log off the game for a day then come back tomorrow
