Clanning Ladder

Recommended Posts

The concept is simple, two separate ladders in which they both fight for the top spot over a period of time (e.g. 1-2 Months) in attempts at obtaining the prize (Bonds, Custom Items, Specific Cape for that Team or Clan etc). In order for it to be successful, I highly recommend this being integrated into the forums (like highscores) and vice versa into the game, providing instant updates for players looking to compete.

Both Single and Multi Clans would sign up and apply through creating their clans and then they'd be able to invite other members from the forums.

To distinguish between between the teams created, members would have a Team Tag (from the one they created on the forums), as an example, (S)Clan Tag) Player Name or (M)Clan Tag) Player Name to show the different teams in game. This could also be toggled by players who aren't interested in seeing these tags in game.

Single Clanning Ladder

  • Maximum of x Players (10 Seems reasonable)
  • Must be signed up via Forums
  • All Kills within Single Combat areas (Including EdgePvP) are counted towards their score. (+1 each Kill?)

Multi Clanning Ladder

  • Maximum of x Players (40-60 Seems reasonable)
  • Must be signed up via Forums
  • All Kills within Multi Combat areas are counted towards their score. (+1 each Kill?)

Both Ladders would have combined Rules, such as;

  • No Boosting (Checked and Moderated by a Member of Staff, May be hard to monitor in terms of Multi, but I'm sure you could make it work)
  • Keeping it Respectful (to a certain degree)

Would be great to see this implemented, although it would take a significant amount of time to code, considering you'll need a web developer capable of providing such skills (not sure if it's something you do), but an all rounded system would be something great to see for the community.

Thoughts?

More flaming? Noty

I don't think Flaming would be the prime reason that players wouldn't want this type of system implemented.
