Correct, I'm a bit tied up at the moment but i'll explain the procedure as soon as I am available. We take %'s into account, but also filtering out valid / invalid polling & comments that might be made. We don't want to just go off of "68% - AKA 15-23" without understanding both sides and getting a bigger picture on how drastic the change would be. Staff enforcement also comes into play, how would the lives of the staff members be having to deal with rag-related reports on a much wider scale like Edgeville home (a majority of the population most of the times).
It's easy for someone to randomly come by and drop a -1 simply because they're friends with someone who told them to, or if they just want to be a dick (this also goes the same for +1), I'd much rather see a result like 60 to 20 where it's OBVIOUS everyone wants the change, even though the % isn't the best, it gives more insight as to what's going on rather than a 8 point margin.
A good example of what I'm saying is this poll:
Which is something I'm pushing heavily for this update, 60 want it reverted, 13 say keep it as it is, and 28 are open to some type of change. That's a HUGE difference, and I can clearly see how most people feel. Also, as an Admin I have certain filters that give different indicators than just 15-23 which is another reason why we didn't jump hastily on that poll.
