[October 25th, 2019] Patch notes (Part II)

We're dropping a quick patch to keep things going until the next content update!
Expect to see some great new things in the near future!
Next Update ETA: October 30th, 2019

Patch notes:

  • Combat improvements and balancing
    • Fixed an issue with DDing / pathing
    • Fixed an issue that caused your player to run all the way up to your target when attacking with magic (in certain scenarios)
    • Elder blood ring adjustments
      • Prior to this update, elderblood ring would give a +4 cap raise for blood weaponry
      • This has been removed from blood slayer equipment due to the power of this ring in conjunction with the blood slayer task bonus, on top of other damage cap raising items (blood slayer bow special attack gave a +8 cap raise since it was two different hits, for example)
      • The cap raise is now +1 instead of +4 for other weapons, due to reasons mentioned above
      • Damage and accuracy bonuses were not effected, so far we've detected this previous cap raise to be the main issue
    • Balmung special attack adjustments
      • Prior to this update balmung special attack would raise hit caps (for the balmung) by +6
      • With the damage, speed, and accuracy bonus this special attack already applies, the cap raise was excessive and has been reduced to +1
      • Like the elder blood ring, damage and accuracy bonuses were not effected
    • Dragon upgrade scroll
      • This upgrade now "curves" depending on the gear you're wearing. It's still powerful, but in order to unlock its full potential in damage frequency, you must be equipping higher tier gear!
      • These changes are predominantly for dragon dagger and dragon claws (or) until further testing
    • Fixed "deadclick" issues for the right hand side of the screen in resizable mode
    • Made further improvements to the elemental mace special attack accuracy and damage
    • Made balanced adjustments to the dharok's set effect when your hitpoints are at or above 50
    • Made balanced adjustments to the the cursed void set melee and range defensive bonuses
       
  • Halloween event patches
    • Increased the amount of lost souls in the F2P game world
    • You must now be level 80+ combat to attack tormented souls or the blood reaper boss
    • Player killing at any part of the wilderness will now give you a flat rate set of tokens (rather than just Edgeville)
    • Yoshi pet will no longer auto-bank event currencies. This includes h'ween tokens, and currency for any future events
      • This addition was made to retain the intended risk of participating in these wilderness events
      • They will instead auto-loot in your inventory
         
  • Blood thorn-bush seeds
    • These new thorn bushes can be planted in the wilderness, providing use for a variety of different techniques!
    • Much like mithril seeds, these can be planted which causes your player to "step aside" even while frozen.
      • This allows for semi-advanced mechanics to stop PKers from barrage + DDing you for a logout
    • These seeds can be bought for 2 blood money each in the Blood money misc shop!

  • Clan chat
    • The clan chat tab will now show all members in the CC if it surpasses 100, which will now allow those players to show up on your minimap as well as being under attack option filters
       
  • Blood-revenants
    • Risking blood orbs will now raise your superior blood-revenant chance!
      • No blood orb: 1/100 chance
      • Lesser blood orb: 1/90 chance
      • Greater blood orb: 1/85 chance
      • Master blood orb: 1/70 chance
      • Cursed blood orb: 1/50 chance
         
  • Enchantments
    • Your # of total successes vs. attempts for an enchantment will now display on the server announcement for successful enchants!
    • Prior to this update the server did not keep record of your total successes, so this display will start at 0
    • For example: In the picture below it was the character's 13th successful eternal bounty cape enchantment out of 19 attempts

  • Item noting
    • The following items can now be noted via bank:
      • Dragon hunter crossbow
      • Twisted bow
      • Blood dagannoth rings
      • Toxic blowpipe
      • Armadyl crossbow
      • Dragon crossbow
      • Toxic staff of the dead
      • Abyssal tentacle
      • Nex armors
      • Ancestral robes
      • Twisted buckler
      • Ring of suffering (i)
      • Devout boots
      • Guardian boots
      • Dragon boots (g)
      • Elder mauls
      • Barrelchest weapons
      • Granite maul (or)
      • Amulet of damned
      • Abyssal bludgeon
      • Heavy ballista
      • Dragon sword
      • Dragon Warhammer
      • Dragon hasta
      • Amulet of eternal glory
      • Dinh's bulwark
      • Serpentine helm
      • Staff of light (all colors)

all of these updates and the previous updates to the guy "Ian"

 

Why did you cater the entire server to one persons thoughts?

 

This seems very unfair.

Maybe my suggestions are just good? :)

 

Great update Ryan hopefully shit pans out well
