Ryan 315 Posted October 10, 2019 Content updates: Halloween event 2019 You can earn Halloween tokens this year from a WIDE VARIETY of activities! This limted time event will be active until: November 6th, 2019 so don't miss out! Soul catching To catch souls, you must obtain a poltergust from Jack the ripper at home The poltergust can also be used to right-click "Poltergust-pull" spirits from spots that are hard to catch! There are two different types of souls to catch: Defeat Tormented souls found scattering the wilderness, very similar to blood-revenants! These souls must be killed with a Poltergust, and have some rewarding drop tables! Free Lost souls which are found roaming safe F2P areas (varrock, lumbridge, falador, etc.) We've fixed a lot of map issues with these locations, allowing you to travel freely! Lost souls are more peaceful than tormented souls and require you to help them pass on to the otherside You will find them in different colors, indicating their rarity and reward potential: Blue: Common, fair rewards Green: Uncommon, good rewards Purple: Rare, great rewards! World boss (Blood reaper) The Blood reaper will spawn every four hours at one of the following locations: Inside the mage arena Outside the Rogue's castle (Rogue's chest) Black chinchompa hill Even in single-zone combat multiple players can attack it, and even still attack eachother Every player who deals damage to it will receive drops! Halloween loot chests Every two hours, a halloween loot chest will appear at a random spot in the wilderness An announcement will be made to the server when it spawns, indicating its wilderness level This chest can be looted by 5 players before it disappears and the timer resets (one loot per person) Each player who loots the chest will receive Magic sickness for 5 minutes! Player-killing Edgeville PKing guarantees 25-55 tokens per kill Hotspot PKs guarantee 75-100 tokens per kill Edgeville hotspot will stack with the Edgeville PKing reward! Tournaments sometimes reward the first place winner with H'ween tokens! Exclusive rewards This h'ween event brings in some great exclusive items, including but definitely not limited to.. Blood reaper scythe This scythe is crafted by attaching a Blood reaper scythe hilt to a Scythe of vitur The blood reaper scythe has the same effects & special attack as the Scythe of vitur, but greater equipment bonuses! The hilt is obtained either as a very rare drop from the blood reaper, or from a H'ween 2019 casket (rare item in the event chest) Reaper bludgeon This bludgeon has stats that are improved in comparison to the 'Abyssal bludgeon' The Special attack acts similarly to Abyssal bludgeon, but rather than receiving bonus damage based on your missing prayer points, you receive bonus damage based on your missing HP The bludgeon is obtained either as a rare drop from the blood reaper, or from a H'ween 2019 casket (rare item in the event chest) Halloween dyes You can use these dyes on Justiciar and Ancestral gear, similar to 3rd-age dyes! These dyes are obtained from the event chest, the H'ween 2019 casket, or as a semi-rare drop from the Blood reaper boss Blood reaper pet This pet has the following effects: Grants +30 stab/slash/crush bonus Grants +10 strength bonus Increases your damage and accuracy the lower your health is Weakness: Opponents deal 5% more damage to you Neitzinot faceguard This brand new BiS melee helmet is exclusively available at the blood diamond shop for 100 blood diamonds Passive effect: Raises your max hit cap by +1 Gameplay improvements: Combat improvements Made overall improvements to combat's pathing system This includes things such as: The way your character trails/follows your target when chasing The way your character runs up to (and attacks in the midst of running) a target Much more! Added the proper granite maul mechanic You will no longer be able to gmaul spec players from improper/far distances You are also now required to click your target shortly after clicking the spec bar if you want to "insta spec" from range/mage combat As a result, you can now achieve combos that may have not been possible before, albeit requiring more skill & technique! Added the proper dragon thrownaxe mechanic You are also now required to click your target after switching to dragon thrownaxes Fixed issues with delays on the special attack Made further improvements to the protection prayer system Removed the old "faster response" prayers for Oldschool 07 tick players, as it was misleading and did not help very much Changes have been made to the system which will hopefully prevent or mitigate registration issues Fixed an issue with improper PJing (sometimes involving auto-retaliation) in non-edgeville singles PKing Teleblock accuracy is improved when equipped with high tier magic gear Granite maul (or) special attack now has an accuracy boost in non-pure PKing Fixed an issue that caused SoTD special attack (and special attacks alike) to improperly activate in the midst of weapon switching Attack options Added a new & improved attack option system, allowing for more variety and a differentiation between players and NPCs/Bots This will also include spell-casting on players and NPCs For example "Always right-click" will require you to right-click for spell casting unlike before To access this, simply click the attack option toggle button in your options tab Once clicked, a menu will appear in your chat box Graphical improvements Fixed an issue with AGS animations in Oldschool graphics Added the new "ornate" look for the granite maul (or) Miscellaneous You can now rename your loadouts (added on a late September hotfix) PoH head items are now untradeable to prevent scamming and misleading trades Removed the blood money CTRL hover knowledgebase link due to intrusion when actively playing Made improvements to the Pet fuse box rates when opening promo packages with a Grand luck falcon pet Added the boneguard PKing treasure effect to the Grand luck falcon pet The Well of goodwill slayer point boost will now stack with your PoH crystal slayer point boost! Added SPK Youtuber Metal raimon to the default youtuber list when opening a referral box as a new player! Bug fixes: Fixed an issue that would cause all your bank items to have the "Release" option until you reload your client, even if they aren't placeholders Fixed an issue where you'd receive an "Your inventory is full!" message when attempting to exchange coins for bags in the wilderness, even when you should be able to Fixed an issue where blood-revenant catchers were tradeable Removed an unintentional "Corporeal beast is weakened" message when fighting corp, which would often spawn the chatbox Fixed an improper combat-level for the elite zone revenant orks Fixed an issue with brackish blade's special attack bar not appearing Fixed an improper non-wilderness safe zone in the wild Fixed an improper ags (or) crush bonus, which was meant to be +10 more than it was 2 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
