[6/26/2018] Blood perk tree expansion, Vorkath, and much more!

Content updates:

  • Blood perk tree expansion
    • The following perks have been added to the blood perk tree:
      • Vampiric accuracy
        • Increases accuracy by 5%, but also increases your opponent's accuracy by 2.5%
        • This effect can be toggled on/off with the spawnable "Vampiric skull"
      • Archaeologist I
        • Increase gold and stone artifact rates by 25%
      • Archaeologist II
        • Increase blood statuette rates by 25%
      • Archaeologist III
        • Increase enchanted and eternal statuette rates by 25%
        • Receive 25% more gold from all statuettes
      • Blood seers' ring
        • Grants you the ability to dip seers' ring (i)s in the blood fountain to craft blood seers' rings
        • This ring will always drop on death as the standard imbued ring
      • Blood archer's ring
        • Grants you the ability to dip archer's ring (i)s in the blood fountain to craft blood archer rings
        • This ring will always drop on death as the standard imbued ring
      • Blood berserker ring
        • Grants you the ability to dip berserker ring (i)s in the blood fountain to craft blood berserker rings
        • This ring will always drop on death as the standard imbued ring
      • Death's accomplice
        • Grants a 5% chance to guarantee a killing blow on an enemy below 33% health
        • This perk does not function in the duel arena or at ::edgepvp
      • Death's door
        • Grants a 5% chance to block a hit that would've killed you when below 33% health
        • This perk does not function in the duel arena or at ::edgepvp
      • Blood alchemy
        • Receive coins instead of blood money from player kills (2.5M coins per blood money)
        • This effect can be toggled with the spawnable "Alchemical chart"
  • Vorkath (new boss)
    • You can now fight the new Vorkath boss by obtaining "Vorkath teleport scrolls" from rune dragons (see drop table)
      • The teleport scroll will take you to your own instance
      • Vorkath teleport scrolls are tradeable
    • Vorkath drops a variety of new items, including:
      • Superior dragon bones
        • Now offering the best prayer experience in the game
      • Vorkath's head (Ava's assembler)
        • Attach to an ava's accumulator (t) to craft an ava's assembler
          • New best in (cape) slot item for ranged combat
        • Ava's assembler can be crafted into a vorkath max cape (bounty point store)
      • Dragonfire ward
      • Mystery boxes
      • Mystery bags
    • Mechanics are very similar to the traditional Vorkath. Make sure you're prepared for his different attacks and phases!
  • Autokeep & untradeable items
    • You will now receive half the repair costs of your opponent's broken autokeep/untradeable items upon killing them
    • The following items will now break on death (and therefore require repairs):
      • Cursed (melee) equipment
      • Ring of vigour (i)
      • Enchanted boots
      • Enchanted gloves
      • Amulet of torutre (or)
      • Necklace of anguish (or)
      • Occult necklace (or)
      • Dragon defender (t)
  • New pet fusion: Viridescent tekton
    • Required ingredients:
      • 3x Yoshi pets
      • 3x Tekton pets
      • 50x Blood diamonds
  • Combat mechanics
    • Added proper "PID" system to combat
      • When in combat, the player with PID over the other will have hit delays 1 tick lower/faster than their opponent
      • PID resets every 60 seconds, which means this hit delay allowance can cycle between players during long fights
      • For the time being, this change has not been applied to the duel arena, where PID/combat will still remain as it was
    • Melee combat
      • Optimized melee accuracy formula for more proper calculations
    • Dharok's equipment
      • Optimized formula for the full dharok effect (work in progress)
  • Anglerfish
    • Added anglerfish to the misc blood money (cost of 1 blood money per fish)
    • Provides proper healing bonuses based on your hitpoints level
  • Promotional item
    • New limited time seasonal ("Summer package") has been added as the daily donation promotional reward
  • Summer event
    • Added "Rogue's chest" to the activity cycle
      • Receive a summer gem for each chest steal
      • Receive 25-50 summer gems for killing players nearby the chest (within or close to the castle)

Gameplay changes and fixes:

  • Animation fixes
    • Added proper godsword animations for oldschool graphics (walk/run/attacks)
    • Fixed animations for elder maul in new school graphics
    • Fixed animations for whips in new school graphics
  • Server stability
    • Optimized server performance for less frequent lag spikes
  • Crystal halberd
    • Raised damage cap for special attack
  • Imbued/twisted/infernal/enchanted heart
    • All heart cooldown timers will now reset on death
    • Reduced cooldown timer for enchanted heart
  • Ring of vigour (i)
    • Special attack reduction cost will now properly work for vesta's longsword
    • Special attack reduction cost will now properly work for sun spear
  • Protection values
    • Lowered dragon thrownaxe protection value
    • Increased mac daddy hat protection value
  • Tectonic fairy pet
    • Fixed issues with the monster damage bonus effect
  • Kharazi jungle
    • Fixed issue with chicken spawns
  • Necklace of anguish (or)
    • Added proper models
  • Bounty teleport scroll
    • Added prevention for teleporting to targets who are in the middle of a wilderness agility obstacle
  • Private messaging
    • Fixed issue with youtuber crowns in chat area private messaging
  • Granite maul
    • Added proper hit delay to granite maul special attack

Cursed void still does not break on death, only cursed melee equipment.

There's a reason people spend 100's of bills on the items, cause they are powerful, you've just made them a waste of money. I will now stop aiming to buy them and gamble on the mystery chest. Y'all just fucked up the economy for those items they're going to become cheap as shit now.

Lmao rip.

Everything else is good, however breaking more items on death is a huge fuck up.

Lol very bad update on the untrables end. cursed is useless now aswell as OR ammys. Not repairing my whole set everytime I die after I paid 100b each for the item. Revert that lmfao...

Hate the untradeables update. What a waste of money buying cursed obsidian was. If you're so intent on making previously autokept items useless, why aren't cursed void/ethereals/additional pets on that list too?

only thing I DO NOT AGREE with is the enchanted chest items. I spent 800b getting enchanted gloves now if I die I have to repair them, but other than that I love the new content update.

Was the ranging issue or bug fixed? If you're not familiar with it, you would run to your opponent one square away and range them rather than from a distance.

    • that perk is absolutely ridiculous, a blow to competitive 1v1 pking/nhing

Completely agree with this one, the rest of the updates are well done.
